  2. Did a bit more on the Mauler conversion. Fitted the sensored motor and HW ESC and the new tyres and Gmade beadlocks. Now to finish trimming the F150 body and get it ready for paint.
  3. If you want a low rider then do it properly like this.
  4. Photos of Land Rovers they have been modified.. Love them or hate them??? . This one I sort of like though. 0
  5. Completely different to LiPo batteries in storage requirements. Doesn’t really.matter what state of charge they are stored at but best to keep them indoors and top up charge once a year if left for a long time. Good article here on storage of NiMh batteries. http://www.pmbl.co.uk/blog/how-to-store-nimh-battery-packs
  6. Tried these yet for one of your 22 rifles?
  7. So you need pellets in industrial quantities then.
  8. Chronoed a few different pellets on the HW44 22 Doesn’t like the heavy pellets and will robably use them up breaking the gun in. H&N Field Trophy. - 357 fps H&N Fied Trophy Green. — 465 fps Bisley Practice. — 350 fps H&N Barracuda Match Heavy. — 312.fps
  9. I only bought small bits from Maplins as it was often cheaper and more convienient than ordering online. Their bigger items though were often overpriced compared to online.
  10. And Maplin’s has just gone into administration as well. Not surprised as they had the same problem as Toys R Us and were so overpriced. John
  11. View out the window shows why my Blzzard is very unhappy this morning. John
  12. Finally gave in and bought this. John
  13. Derby is not well known for it’s beaches. John
  14. My Blizzard has forgotten what snow looks like. John
  15. A bit of snow on and off but not quite cold enough to settle. Roads are bare and damp. Kyosho Blizzard will have to wait a bit longer for an outing. John
  16. Why are spare mags so expensive. £££££££ Was thinking of getting a couple of spare magazines for the HW44 but at thirty quid each don’t think I’ll bother for now. John
  17. Decided to change the 2x20 pistol scope I’d stuck on the HW44 with something better so went out and picked up a Leeper 3-9 x 32 BugBlaster scope. Wow what a difference. So much sharper and clearer and the option to user a higher mag which suits me as I wear reading glasses and even though I don’t use glasses to shoot a higher mag makes it a lot easier for me to see the target clearly. Also the scope will focus down to a silly 3 yards so ideal for close range garden shooting. Just noticed the rear flip up cap isn’t pushed down straight. Also managed to find a alloy mini fore grip. Didn’t need anything big, just enough to help steady the pistol. Looks like it could have been made for the HW44. Also added a rail mounted bubble level. John
  18. Maybe you have got him one of these tool boxes instead.
  19. I have this one and it is very good indeed. Gives very consistent readings. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01HHN2MOO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Stay away from the Xcortech ones that look similar but aren’t accurate and are affected by light etc. John
  20. Not quite zeroed in but getting there. Hopefully will get more accurate once I get used to the pistol and it gets broken in. John
  21. Zeroed in the HW44 more or less. The neighbours cat decided to pay a visit and kept sitting in front of the target despite me shooing him away every time. That’s one persistent cat. Oh well I’ll have another go after lunch.. But that aside really impressed with the HW44. The action is smoother and cocks easier than the HW110. The trigger is absolute perfection. I had read that they had made improvents to the HW110 design when adapting it. And it is so quiet when firing. More of a gentle pffft than anything else John.
