  1. Definitely looks interesting. Good luck everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Fourthed? Any way speaking from experience, I went for the plastic fantastic stuff first, lost interest, bought something half decent, loved it and now I've stuck around Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Everything WR8 https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Emsuk-forum%2Eco%2Euk%2Findex%2Ephp%3F%2Ftopic%2F164646-Everything-WR8&share_tid=164646&share_fid=4338&share_type=t Here's the WR8 owners club too. Have a look in there, you may find the answer to your question. It definitely sounds like a calibration issue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. He has some awesome builds, i follow him on Instagram, the time and effort that goes into each build is incredible
  5. They do v8 sprint cars in the U.K. Now too. American V8 motors with around 500bhp!!! That would be great fun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I've finished. did it all online. luckily i only have a relatively small family and a Mrs that doesn't let me spend a fortune on her so I'm ok this year
  7. Ive ragged my little Colt round the garden, been great fun in the frost. 1st time Ive ran an RC in a little while
  8. I wish there was somewhere to run this in the UK. its a great looking thing
  9. You've done an amazing job with those. Can't wait to see your R/Cs now [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Welcome. That lambo looks great. Interested to see what you do with the tamiya kits. I'm also a tamiya fan. On a side note, can you put up some pics of your other static models, I'm a fan of those myself and would be very interested to see some Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Weirhlein is my top pick. under mercedes contract and no top driver will go as a number 2. i think he knows this is his one and only shot at the title too, he cant beat lewis on a racetrack
  12. Looks awesome, great build
  13. It might be the bushes in the starter box. If they are wearing, that can cause them to bog Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Isn't there bash fest as well some time in the year? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Maybe msuk members should club together and sort something out?
  15. My girlfriend has one. I bought it for her last Christmas. I use it as much as she does, it's a great buggy for the money! Make sure you get bearings because it comes with bushes as standard. Eventually I'd upgrade to a gpm steering assembly and a gpm diff or the metal gears out of a DF02. I run mine brushless on 2s lipo but it's plenty fast enough on the brushed setup Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Ive got a schumacher supastox i could let go cheap?
  17. Another amazing prize. Good luck everyone!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. certainly looks lively, looks like it handles nicely well too
  19. hobbyking? thats an absolute bargain!!
  20. Sounds a great thing to do!! Family time and RCs sounds a great combo. I love the look of the muscle car but that's for shelf duties only, I can't bring my self to run it, just looks so good. I use a gt40 shell for bashing. I'd recommend alloy prop shaft, camber kit, shock mounts, steering assembly and adjustable suspension as upgrades but you can do them bit by bit. Ive never ran a HPI on road but upgrades and extras are a plenty. I love the look of the Tamiya TT-02 Porsche and NSX concept too.
  21. I'd go 1/10 personally. Just to sway you a bit more here is my Vaterra v100 I don't use that shell for bashing but its got a tub chassis and its a bit higher as XV said. Its fine in car parks and handles block paving ok. It does have a few upgrades but it doesn't really need them.
  22. yeah i agree Noj, thats why i asked what sort of thing he was after, i think 1/10 may be better for space to use it etc because the XO-1 will need a lot of room
  23. taken from modelsport site mate *Unlock the 100+mph speed only with the Traxxas Link App and with optional #2872 5000mah 11.1v 3-Cell LiPo Power Cell LiPo batteries. Included high-speed gearing and High Downforce splitter are required for 100+mph operation. **Unlocking 100+mph speed capability requires the Traxxas Link Application (download from the App Store) and an iPhone (4S, 5, 5C, 5S), iPod touch (5th generation and later versions), iPad (3rd generation and later versions), or iPad mini (sold separately). iPhone and iPod touch are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries
  24. you have to unlock the 100mph mode. it comes as a 50mph machine out the box iirc and you have to change a couple of hardware pieces and unlock on the telemetry.
