    Would the FG brushless combo (910kv / 200a ESC) be suitable for a Baja conversion? I figure it's the 4th and 5th item down on here.

      I'm not specifically sure on those ESC's, but I have ran one of the Trackstar 200a 8s ESC's in my 5ive and its been faultless. Doesnt even get warm.

    Looks like I'll be putting some stuff up for sale again after deciding to keep it. Some lovely chaps decided to try and steal my 1/1 car, didn't get very far so burnt it to the ground.

      Won't be able to cut it with a dremel too well, it will melt instead of cut, end up being messy. Decent hacksaw should be good though.

    Just converted 3x 6s pack into 6x 3s packs. Still got all my fingers, and my eyebrows are still there. Awesome.  :yahoo:

      That's why I did it, I had the 6s packs, but didn't want to buy more for the MT. It is pretty easy to be fair. I've removed bad cells before now, so it's not much different. I wouldn't mind doing for other peeps, the only risk is the posting, back and forth. Another risk in the factor. I should have taken pictures to be fair and mate a tutorial.

     Can anyone with a Vorza measure the distance between the screws (centre to centre) on the chassis screws that hold the front diff housing please? I'm looking at getting T-bones for my Pulse and was wondering if Vorza ones would fit

      I think they used to do ones for the Hotbodies lightning 2, which is pretty much a Pulse, but musn't of been very popular.

      I've bought blank T-bones, so I will drill the mounting holes to fit. Just means a bit off faffing. Will need to take the front end off to get a perfect fit, might be worth doing a service at the same time.

      Also got some for the ST. Whoo.

      I did a y4 v-tail a while back, flew really well. Thinking about building a gyrocopter as they're dead easy to fly and don't need pin sharp reactions (I'm old).

    Lost my Tricopter 20meters up a tree on Sunday. Mounting a rescue mission today for this afternoon. Hope the weather hasn't got to it. The feeling when people come together in a time of need is great. Shout out to Kents Ultimate RC Bashers, thanks for the help.

      WD40 is good for electrics and cleaning when you have nothing else

      GT85 will go on and dry itself leaving a teflon coating. WD40 will go on and remain wet which attracts the dust and crap

      Ide be propperley nervous around that, but lipo scares me fresh from its packaging lol. Its good to see it gave you plenty of warning tho. Did that just happen in one run or was there signs already? 6s bomb I think is more dangerous than hiding petrol in the oven.

      It had been slightly puffy for a few weeks, but as it was in a hardcase wrapped in gorilla tape, it just hides the problem. Figured something was really wrong when the gorilla tape had started to tear. It's still outside with no change. It's sat in a terracotta pot until I am brave enough to go poke it with a long stick.
