  1. Anyone here upto speed with MTB's - specifically tyre options?  Don't have time to research or learn a new hobby - just want some advice on what tyres I can fit to my Hybrid.  Ta

      Maxxis are good, schwalbe are good, continential are good. Suitable tread for that terrain is anything with shallow centre tread as brian said, least resistance and can still hold its own on light dirty surfaces. Factor in potential increased punctures with thinner tread in the centre section as thats where all your weight is when you ride generally. Id look for potentially slime tubes, with the self sealing goo or you could look into tubeless setups but if the bike isnt set up for that it could end up costing a fair bit. Hope that helps

      Thanks guys. Actually just picked up a new unused muddyfox anarchy 400.... For next to nothing. It's not a patch on my Cannondale but I figured if mini me doesn't take too it I'm having the tyres and rims as they're not too shabby. Will pick up some of the recommend above the too for mine.

      Stuck with Schwalbe, and ordered there Hurricane's and a pair of Slime tubes.
