  1. Does anyone know of a Database for Stolen / lost  RC?  I can't find one, and wonder if we should perhaps have one.  I ask as I see a known toe rag selling / swapping stuff that seems beyond his means.  Of course said toe rag could be legit but it got me thinking.

I've often thought of stuff like this, but it might get a bit complicated if it's not kept updated.

The original owner could get their vehicle back, the thread doesn't get updated and the genuine owner gets in trouble when they're seen with it.

You can imagine it in this day and age.

      Potential minefield though.

If the 'toe-rag' you accuse is legit and gets hassle as a result of posession of a 'stolen' RC....the site could well be liable.

If someone is moving on stolen goods, then the Police are the ones to call. Otherwise the siter could also be acused of inciting 'vigilante' action.

You could put up a thread saying ' I have had this RC stolen', and put up some pics asking for any sightings....but trying to keep a database of such stuff is risky. Very risky.
