  1. Think you'd need to improvise shock mounts for it, look at the FTX Carnage for possible parts. The big issue will be the wheelbase. You'll need to measure. Very cool shell though.
  2. Looks cool. Wonder if I could "upgrade" my Blast 1 to Blast 2?
  3. LOLOLOL!!!!!! The mint in the toothpaste reduces friction and is less dense than grease. Regrease your car with it and it'll go 10mph faster and jump 10ft higher The cheese grater helped me shave 4.67g from the tub, meaning it'll pull 2g's in a corner now.
  4. I'll ask him tomorrow. The plan is to evolve the track. The idea was to make dips, jumps and other features, but the ground is far too hard at the minute.
  5. Looks rounded. Get a decent set of mole grips clamped on the small nut, hold the left nut in place with the appropriate socket set. Should come off. Shjt, just saw this..
  6. Got a picture of what you mean? Is it a Nyloc nut?
  7. Schumacher stuff branded as Core RC, sold on here may be worth a look too. I have a set to fit to some rims, will see how I get on with them. If the Absima wheels and rim combo ever come back in stock on here, they're fantastic for bashing.
  8. I'll speak with the lad and see what he says. His gf is away for a couple weeks apparently!

  10. Very impressed with it. The mud is very sandy, so everywhere is coated in a dusty inch thick layer. It actually cushions some of the more awkward landings! Can't wait to get back out there with 4wd!
  11. Aside from the pin, which was lost from the start, nothing broke on my car, inspite of repeated nose dives into the mud. Very pleased with how tough it is.
  12. The carpet on that large jump accounts for probably 2/3s of the ramp at a guess, it's a big old jump!
  13. Was a little aware of a MTB "playground" just outside of town, so we went to check it out. It's excellent. Car lost front drive, due to shedding a pin off the drive shaft and was tough to control in very dusty/sandy conditions. Took quite a while to get anywhere near competent at jumping again, but I got there. The picture is about 40% of the area. It's littered with jumps, bumps and banked corners. From 1ft to an easy 10-12ft. One of the larger jumps.... Tried panoramas too, to show more..... A couple car shots once the battery was flat: Landing a jump: Attempting a back flip...
  14. Didn't take any. Got some video of a bash from Friday night at a new spot, will post a thread in a sec
  15. Would be very interested in Absima road rims. The off road ones are excellent. Currently stripping a spare set to put my road tyres on. Though I'm tempted to buy some chrome rims to complete the Starsky and Hutch look for my car.
  16. Think I may have had Fastrax road tyres (for use on skate parks) the rubber was excellent, but the rims I cracked on my first bash.
  17. I just picked up a cheap set. Can also find them on eBay too Sorry, was Abisma, not Fastrax: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/absima-buggy-wheel-and-tyre-set/rc-car-products/370575 Been out of stock for a while though. The rims are pretty tough.
  18. Look on modelsport. They have a great selection. I got on great with the Fastrax wheels and tyres combo. Was a tenner for 4, think they've near doubled in price. Bashed hard on them (white 5 spoke design). The compound is a little soft, but gives good traction on dusty dirty and very short grass.
  19. Lovely looking replica. Though looks snappable.
