    Here's a pic for reference.

    HPI on Tamiya

Think that shell might still be wide. I bought a 190mm Trueno Shell for my TT-01 and had to buy 12mm offset wheels to fill the arches. Oh and Hello fordy!
  3. You can get a new Tamiya Blitzer Beetle kit (
  4. Just dipping my toes with a Hobbyking Bixler and it's brilliant. With it being a push prop there's less chance of me breaking it if it comes down too hard. Have a DX6i TX that connected to my mates TX via a trainer lead so he can take over if it gets away from me Love it so far! Very predictable and can fly at very low speed. Oh and the Phoenix flight sim is great too as I can use the DX6i with it.
  5. Fitted Sand Paws onto my DT-02 (over a set of Blitzer rear wheels).
  6. Always wanted a Tamiya kit as a nipper but never had one. Decided one day that rather than buying and building static models I should take the plunge with RC. Second year into the hobby now, just about to move to the air with a Bixler in the next week or so
  7. MASSIVE APPLAUSE Well done mate, superb job. Been great seeing the progress in this thread. Keep posting updates! Sorry to hear about your problems but glad the RC hobby is therapeutic for you.
  8. Short but sweet. If the length of the cable is short (so you don't want to snip them more) you can squeeze the Tamiya connector sideways with pliers and wriggle the cables free too.
  9. I always try to bring a few spares with me or even resort to wire twists (whatever they're called) if I've no clips to hand.
  10. Great build so far. Love how you did the indicators!
  11. Flew my Hubsan X4 up and down the stairs several times to the amazement of my little boy Got my Mini Cooper M-03 driving in a straight line again. (how do servos go out of line between building and running?)
  12. Have you bought anything new for it or has it all been repaired so far?
  13. Love that Nissan shell! Nice buy.
  14. This is fantastic Good on you for having a crack at this rebuild!
  15. Power brick for my Battery charger! Wow
  16. Sorry, just realised this is in the wanted section.
  17. The sensored combos from Hobbyking run well. https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__22598__Hobbyking_X_Car_Brushless_Power_System_4000KV_60A.html
  18. 2s. 3s would be far too much.
  19. I'd go for this from hobby king as it's sensored and a little cheaper too: http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__22600__Hobbyking_X_Car_Brushless_Power_System_2600KV_45A.html Or if you want to save a little more this is what's in mine: http://www.rcecho.com/LEOPARD-SKYRC-3000KV-13T-Brushless-Motor-60A-ESC-Speed-Controller-Combo-ME714.html Few on eBay for
  20. Sorry, I didn't say which. It's a sensorless Leopard combo (
  21. I have a 13t (powered by a 2s LiPo) in my M-03. I wouldn't want anything quicker in it.
  22. Been looking at oil filled dampers for my M-03 Mini, do you think these would be ok? Bit taller than the Tamiya/3-racing ones I've seen. So cheap though! https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=26259
  23. Wow, are they 1:10 or 1:8? Look spot on. iMax B6 charger from HK.
  24. I'd give sponges a go, but there's no way I'm sweeping up a carpark every time I play out.
