Maverick Strada DC 1/10 RTR Electric Drift Car + Spare wheels - £89 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112603307791 Used a couple of times but drifting not for me. Couple of cracks and chips to front of body shell from light bumps with curbs.

Based on my experience with the original PMT. The shocks will leak if you look at them. - I gave up putting oil in them. The spur gears will strip for a pass time. Part support in the UK will be non-existent.

So had to replace a rear arm today as 18 months of jumping it failed. Ran in it a problem the pin holding the shock in was stuck solid and had to cut old arm to free it but the pin seems to have rusted to the Pin. I check the other side it is also stuck solid . the joys of wet weather bashing.

I have just swapped over from 6s diff gears to 8s and my xmaxx feels slower + can't get it to wheelie now - need to gear up to see it returns to what I had before. I am await centre diff and other parts from Jenny's RC.

Drive shaft pins and diff gears have been the only thing that I have broken regularly

The Beach is fun the clean up not so much also broke front and rear diff gears upgrade to the V2 now see they hold up. - do I need to adjust my pinion as the gear ratio is different on the V2 diffs or are they basically the same?

Update - Nothing broken but passenger head has disappeared Also hobbywing programming cards don't work on the rebadged ESC so have to configure manually. I have up the BEC voltage to 8.4v from 6v and the stock steering servo is a lot better. - don't know why Losi don't do this from factory as receiver is rated to run up 9v.

This is not the case now with a lot of policy's now days, the cheaper provides removed this to lower cost as it classed as high risk. so the hot dry weather has returned and I have been out bashing again. the only problem I have is with the sway bars keep popping off. and today it got stuck under the axle which was a pain. Also I think I want a more powerful steering servo.

Its traxxas so I would guess you void your warranty, but I guess its down to the retailer as you warranty is with them(UK consumer law), Best to ask the retailer you intend to purchase from. I would guess about £50-60 for the stock radio

Depends on ESC but mostly likely. you could use a extra BEC to isolate the power. They store some charge for when power is draw is required but when they have failed they wont hold power or correct power levels. If one has failed and it not holding the required power when you need it could damage something else. I wont risk it as you might get a voltage spike to the radio or servos. I sure a forum member used to soldering work - they might be able to replace it for you
