I’m interested to know what your thoughts are on this ? I keep looking at these and the clone scx10 ii chassis for a couple of projects I want to do

Your correct I drilled out the 2 conveniently placed holes in the plastic glass to fit the light bar on mine 😁 and lot of people are cutting out a rear window as well as the glass has it the gut not cut in the body

That makes sense though I hope they sell the lights as an upgrade because I don’t think I’ll ever be able to make a set up my self I’m still putting off making (trying to make) the 4th set for the TRX4 🤣

Has my puzzled as it a bigger plug than the other one only thing I can think of is it has a different resistor on the set of wires possibly the make them brighter ? if you run them of a separate small battery

Yep I believe you can get 3d printed rear light buckets and to add to that I’ve found a seller that does 3d printing and has a tubular rear bumper but no way am I going to pay £40 do it 😳

Made a start on the Carisma Range Rover/Tamiya cc-02 build kinda wish I didn’t now though 🤣

Looks good the brass colour goes well with black don’t think it would with orange though hence why I’m waiting for the painted stuff but saying that there might be a colour change happening soon 🤔

Never will I complain about putting 1.9 beadlocks together ever again so fiddly and doesn’t help having sausage fingers either 🤣 but was worth it in the end only has a little bit of rub on full lock when compressed but has ever so slightly widened the track doesn’t look like that anymore the front has been stripped down as I’m painting the inner grill and lights 👍

Worked out there metal shielded bearings but rubber shielded ones are better for dirt and what not anyway I’ve had a go in the garden this evening and it definitely needs some weight down low I’m looking at these https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/injora-10-plus-42g-each-12-spoke-brass-beadlock-wheel-rims-for-124-118-crawler-4-black-1351076 along with the brass links don’t want to go overboard with brass parts might get the links first and go from there I've already started making it mine just added some optional bits that come with it still have a few bits I’m planning on doing but this is how mine sits at the minute also curiosity got the better of me and needed to see what it looked like with the new wheels and tyres there only pushed in not mounted and for anyone that has one do the shock mod ASAP huge difference 👍

Are the bearings on these proper bearings or bushings? I can’t tell from looking at it but don’t want it taking it apart just yet to find out 🤣

I’ve got the battery that @Lone-wolf said as well it will fit the K5 after moving the wires from the ESC or moving the ESC forward slightly as it won’t fit straight in but no big deal to do though 👍
