  1. not the nicest man to deal with either from experience........
  2. i second that, i own a EB4 S2 and its got to be the best little buggy i own, ive abused it and bashed it over the four years and ive never really had any serious problems with it at all, sertainly better than my kyosho inferno neo. the only two weaknesses ive found with them are the upper wisbone rear links are made of plastic and bend, i bought the aluminium set for a tenner that solved that straight away and the steering knuckles are made of cast ally and the bottom threads tend to go on the bottom ball joints, ive threadlocked them in tight on my second set of knuckles and no problems since. also thundertiger parts are dirt cheap too so if you do manage to break anything its cheap to fix which is a bonus
  3. made a complete t-maxx out of my parts draw.. :)

Badger is my second favourite word behind boobs it should recognise it by now

  4. a revo 3.3 a new engine for the inferno neo a losi 8 with a mamber monster kit and finally a nice big and heavy baseball bat for the thieving f@ckers that live in my town > and possibly a set of furry handcuffs for the missus of course (and a gag)
  5. HOLD ON! if its the old hawk type wich you have then theres only one engine that will fit and one only, its the pro.15 traxxas LONG SHAFT. the hawks have a backwards clutch/flywheel thing going on. you can buy the short shaft traxxas pro .15 and swap over the crankshafts if you want to keep on using the hawk, if it is this model http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b170/momotheman5/hawkch.jpg the hawks are getting rare indeed and the buggys, might fetch a good price to someone who loves classics. they go well too i had one for a short while....
  6. could be a mix of things, is it smoking badly? extra throttle could be a very rich bottom end so it might need more air intake so stop it from bogging. idle adjustment could be low, might have to reset the servo horn and throttle trim as well. your glow plug could also be bad,
  7. why not get a t maxx? the 2.5 not the 3.3, they've been around a while so the parts are plentyful, they have an easy start on them instead of pull starts so much easier for her to start it herself, and with a little fiddling you can tone it down for her to learn on it and when she gets better you can tune it back up again,
  8. thunder tiger eb4 s2 pro, they'r on modelsport for
  9. thundertiger pro 21 bxr or 28 bxr, if it will fit as the pullstart is on at an angle on these so it limmits choice of buggys you can stuff them in, i found them a very good engine all round and they are very durable too.
  10. ive owned one for years, still works fine and it has outlasted loads of other servos ive bought over time. its currently in my nitro sport working the steering, the wires on mine are different to the ones in the vid though......
  11. its a hot bodies lightning 10, its written on the reciever box but theyr practically identical anyways.... i had one, they handled pretty well too. a good all rounder.
  12. might pull out and swap the pro 15 for the 2.5 in my rusty

  13. putting everything on charge, adjusted the shift point on my t maxx 3.3 to keep it from changing into second so quickly, fixed the seal on my JP2 pipe on the buggy so i can take it out too tommorow for some bashin' made a hanger wire to hold my new filter on the mad maxx
  14. more problems with my rusty, this engine has been a problem since it came out of the box!

  15. Yeah I agree it is a better box but I would prefer to use the old box if I can at least Untill it goes bang, i also can't seem to get it to fit the new box into the old chassis unless i get the dremmel out and allow space for the new break and fatter shafts as they seem to interfere with the chassis. theres got to be a solution other than going down the extended chassis route to accomodate the new box. Are there any aftermarket breaks availiable for the old box, are there any mods i could look into? I have tried the stock savage break disks and have the stronger savage calipers I've fiddled with the linkage and got a hitek 645mg servo in the throttle wich made it better but not by much. It still fades dramatically.
