  1. The rings I just use zen 36mm you don't need a piston and ring, only need a new piston if it's worn. You don't need a copper gasket for the head, only the case, don't over torque just because you have a copper gasket that would just cause issues. The heads not designed to use a normal gasket, if you even try and fit one then your gunna have issues. Oh and the case bolts are fine forgot about those. Lol the forum is having technical issues at the minute, been a few days now maybe doing an update or something. Sent via tapatalk on a mobile devise.
  2. If you use 5nm you can't go wrong I don't have a stock filter arrangement, I use a dt1 and BZM stack. 80in/lb I'd say is over torqued
  3. Deffo take another HP figures and chuck erm right out the window, not sure on the big bores dyno claims but it's all pub talk. I'm running a 4 show L bacher and it's had just .25 wear in over 100 hrs use and that's pulling a 18kg baja on 17-18-19 and 20 pinions depending what I'm doing. But almost 20k puppeli? Nar that's 3/4 throttle mate, going to see what the max loaded revs are when I'm next out only got stock gearing on for that test though, then another no loaded test. I've now got the speed petals in so I'm hoping for 21k loaded and 23k unloaded if I get it well will see. As for the snapper stay clear of it way to many problems with that clutch, they suppose to bite like no other but get well above 200deg so clearly slips. Sent via tapatalk on a mobile devise.
  4. On the scz thread page 1 post 3 click the link that's the most up to date info. [emoji106]
  5. A garmin 301 forerunner went on eBay the other week for £25 if you look and keep an eye out bargains can be had, I got mine on eBay over 3 years ago BNIP £36 and it's the foretrex all because the seller listed it wrong lol. Sent via tapatalk on a mobile devise.
  6. 62.6 SCZ on Rodis and my other engine OBR FM got 60.2 on trenchers, Rodis was slower back then but bought some trenchers just to beat the 62.6 but other things have got in the way so fully expecting to beat the 62.6 the math works out I should get 65.3 based off my other tech data. 7. From eBay £117 but got a whooping 5% off that, you can get erm cheaper outside uk at around £90 but then you'd get taxed. The bracket is just a bit of plastic screwed to the TCC, the pet comes with Velcro so you can stick it anywhere as long as it's the way when you roll the baja. Sent via tapatalk on a mobile devise.
  8. Well last night I made some gaskets, I'm testing this new material so changed out to the speed petals while the carb and reed cage was out. The speed petals have given me the best top end when doing the never ending test, but not convinced of this gasket material so maybe changing that out after a bash if I'm not happy. If I'm happy then I will see what the max revs are under load with the pet-2000, but I have maxed the TTO out every single outting on that set up I've had and then once fitted the pet I've not quite got the same revs as the TTO pets been less not sure how much less I'd have to have both running together and make sure I don't max the TTO out so maybe a test there has well but the TTO is either over reading or pet under reading.
  9. Not tested max flat out revs with this tacho on load yet, only been bashing since I fitted it and testing my own carbon petals. I've got some more carbon coming and more petals will be made, my speed set are locked up in a safe place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. The IMG is more like for information to anybody who cares. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Maybe your not torquing your bolts up correctly or your torque wrench needs calibrating? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Guessing most don't own or use a torque wrench but the specs there for a reason, each to there own I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Although that's fine I do my plugs to 10Nm 88.5in/lb right in the middle of the range, and never leaks. When I torque all my bolts i go middle of the road at the most, and normally a tad lower. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I asked what did you torque it to? And it's M10x1 I have a few torque wrenches drive and ratchet and just sold a few, but torquing up the bolts to the correct spec saves gaskets, saves stripping threads, saves bolts coming undone, they really are worth the money.
  16. What did you torque the plug to? I've stripped and repaired via the heli coil method then used a torque wrench that I had after I fixed it lol.
  17. Yep been around a while now these ttos I've been using one for 3 years and are a very useful tool, I also use the temp version. The new ttos have a button on the front so you can press it to see max rpm since last reset, reset by long press of the button. I hit 19999 every outting and have now just bought a pet-2000 cream of the crop techno. Will be here tomorrow and although no load testings not advised I will be doing it on the scz, 2 reasons to see what the actually max revs it will give. I'm guessing 21k plus based off calculations be done when maxed the TTO out, and 2 to see if it goes pop at daft revs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Mine are full force ones and once that pipes on the fixing it never comes off, you have to slit it to get it off hence no need for clamps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Well that's abit pants I thought they'd be the same style taper, but if that's the case then I guess stock it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
