  1. I took some pictures but they are too big for this site. 140mm long inside 145mm outside and wide is 73mm inside and outside about 77-78mm after I took the lid off and out of packet and inside 30mm tall so the plastic is strong on it. 35mm height on outside so 2.5mm thick plastic.
  2. Leo good news. I just got this one delivered for the servo upgrade. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/GTBracing-LOSI-5IVET-Carbon-dual-servos-large-battery-compartment-bracket-LOSI-052-GTB-racing-losi-5ive/32634636772.html Looks brilliant and quality. The battery box is 140mm long and 75mm wide and the height is 35mm. In this you have freedom to fit just about any battery you want and have free space for other components like lights or kill switch so you don't have to cramp anything in your receiver box. I'm glad I didn't go with expensive alloy one as they are heavy and the battery box has been claimed to heat up under the exhaust acting like an oven. So one of these will fit without flat plugs. http://www.crazyhobbies.com.au/electronics/lipo-batteries/n-vision/lipo/7-4v/nvision-pro-lipo-8000mah-90c-7-4v-tubes.html
  3. ...and then you wonder why it is so quiet here...
  4. Great then this will fit. It is 68mm wide and flat connectors. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__63010__Turnigy_nano_tech_Ultimate_6400mah_2S2P_90C_Hardcase_Lipo_Square_Pack_US_Warehouse_.html That's if I can get it in Australia.
  5. How long do you get running from that? Is the box 70mm wide?
  6. Leo any chance you could put your ruler to show how wide the box is? I found this battery and it looks good if 68mm fits. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__63010__Turnigy_nano_tech_Ultimate_6400mah_2S2P_90C_Hardcase_Lipo_Square_Pack_US_Warehouse_.html Turnigy nano-tech Ultimate 6400mah 2S2P 90C Hardcase Lipo Square Pack Turnigy any good?
  7. "...in the over priced 5200mAh 2S LiPo..." That's quoting you. I see you have been buzzy editing your comments.)))
  8. It is also sold in Australia so I'm sure your local hobby shops also have them just like their kill switch. Usually the price is same in UK shop as it is in U.S. Also note that it is from their site so you might even get it cheaper from your shop. Often is that way when they buy 100 maybe 60% of the price and sell it 80-90% for the competition. I never buy from manufacturers site. Plus it is 7200mAh not 5200mAp. Big difference.
  9. If I would be going for soft pack at least I would look for battery with the right connections on it. Here you go.)) 7200mAh 7.4v RX Lipo Battery. http://www.killerrc.com/product/7200mah-7-4v-rx-lipo-battery/ And cheaper than your £55.09 and much higher in capacity to give longer running times.
  10. You can see the wirings fitted here and all the hard bits of the connectors are inside the battery connection. Don't see any problems here with the banana connectors.
  11. Plenty of room on top. the battery is only 25mm high and there is no harm if you shape the banana plus the plugs are in a recess leaving even more room. There is give not worried about that and if anything it will help to keep the battery planted.
  12. I have come across this issue with many shops. As long as they can move the stuff out they are happy and wouldn't care about you if you got the wrong stuff and then when you take it back instead getting a refund you are lucky to get store credit.))
