Well I upgraded my zenoah 26cc stock to esp champ ported 29cc head kit the uses stick crank shaft omy zenoah so it was quite easy to install, To be honest now I feel like with this kit installed and jetrpo silenced on my stadium fg 2wd, Everyone who saw my rig running they all say I need 2speed gear box to justify the power this esp kit is putting out. Believe me And the geainv I m using is 18/46, Worth every penny blood. Cheers.

Hello guys, Went out with 2shims on the rear bevel gear And felt a little lack of that grunt what I had last time with 3 shims when the bearing snapped, As usual I was using 13/50 gearing And 3 2s 5000mah hardcase 65c packs, So today I decided to put that 3rd shim back, Will post the outdo e, Cheers.

Well its simples, Get some unleaded and hold the crunchy bearing and dip it completely into the petrol while holding the bearing and then use ur fingers to move the bearing with a little momentum and try to keep the bearing a little tilt on one side and check it after few good spins under the fuel, If satisfied drop few drops of any thin oil between the walls of bearing and spin it slowly and there u go U just learned how to overhaul ur bearings. I bought it new and it came with 3shims stock, I kept driving like that and always had this feeling that why the rig is so stiff when moved by hand on the floor, I always thought that it might be the pinion spur mesh, And now with 2 shims on the back the whole truck moves by hand quite smoothly, Very strange, How I got to this point, Just installed 4274 lite by hobbywing and took out to check the temps on new can as the ripper was going bonkers on 6s like 75celcius plus andi thought let's check this motor, And to my surprise same setup as was used on ripper with 13/50 gearing, This hw4274 2000kv motor went 57celcius max and I was quite happy till the truck came to stop and I thought the pinion must have gone off but came home and found the bearing torn apart, As far as will this be a good move or bad Only next 6s pack will tell. Hello guys Went out last Sunday to have some 6s fun It got cut short The reason I found when came back home was The inner bearing on rear diff bevel gear shaft was completely dismembered, Bearing no (688rs) I don't know how but got few new to replace it While I was putting the new bearing I noticed that the bevel gear were having this quite hard bite when moved, So I took one shim out of three shims that were placed between the inner bearing and the rear bevel gear to have that smooth feeling, By doing that the bevel gear was moving silky smooth, So just want any of u guys expert opinion on if its okey to run it with 2 shims instead of stock 3 as now the rear bevel shaft has a very tiny little play like half mm because of that 3rd shim removal.   10. I am a speky fan. But last month I bought 3pm MX futaba and a spare frsky RX for about 35$ I have to say it is a totally different level of control in ur hand especially when u r running 29 esp ported 2wd monster with 18\46 gearing.

Hello guys. a very silly question but I just burned a 150a ESC in my mt4g3 recently, so had this exrun 120a ESC laying around, Currently running 2 2s genace 5000mah hardcase 65c packs,not feeling the kick so, Was wondering will it kill this ESC if I put 3 of these packs in as 6s!! As the ESC says 2 to 4s capable. Cheers guys.
  13. hello there, i had 668wt on my 2wd fg as a stock carb, then i ordered this wt990 from ddm, this carb is almost maintenance free but the only thing i have observed is that this carb is very aggressive in terms of throttle response and yes u do need to keep the idle screwed in like almost 85% to keep this carbs thirst for fuel contained... its worth every penny.

  16. i just got mechanical fg stock front discs set fitted to my stadium truck, and they seem to work just fine..for only 77$ from ddm cheers.
  17. well, today for the first time since i bought my fg, i have managed to take the pinion off, and to my surprise i just put the soldering rod next to the rock solid grub screws for like good 30 seconds and they started to come off like butter fingers.. cheers... i changed from stock 18/46 to 16/48, and can't wait to see how she response.

  21. hello buddy, there are few things u should check before u start to get annoyed from urself, first check the plug after few pulls, if its wet that means engine head is flooded,turn her up side down with the spark plug off,and give her good 4 to 6 pulls, u will notice that she will start coughing fuel on the floor,then set her down with the dry plug installed and do this what i have tried and tested successfully, close H needle and put L needle to stock setting, like a little less than a full turn, if she starts give her few seconds there to burn some fuel out then open the h needle like 1 full turn and now check the throttle if she puts a smile on ur face. keep us posted buddy. good luck.
