Afternoon guys, hope you are all well. Just got back into the hobby after picking up a second hand mini 8ight t. Its in pretty good shape really but has the original esc and motor, I had a quick shakedown session the garden on a 2s LiPo and which is pretty much dead! This car for me will be a back garden basher really so I'm not looking for huge straight line power, ideally plenty of punchy torque and instant power to get up to speed nice a quickly! Iv seen a few build where a larger 540 motor has been fitted and I do like the idea of running something oversized to allow me to give it some stick in the garden without heat issues, but this must require a larger battery to supply the larger system which then causes space problems ext ext. Im looking for a new motor/esc combo for this model, if there is something available as a combo or a separate esc and motor im not to fussed really. If you wouldn't mind dropping me a few suggestions id really appreciate it. Also if you do or have owned one of these is there anything I should upgrade or change ext? Many thanks Dan
