I got the email at 6.01pm to say it was out for delivery then at 6.03 it arrived! 

So when did it arrive?

7:30...Sold the TX it came with at 8pm...dude traveld 1 and a half hours to get it...cutting it a bit fine lol..I gave him loads of heads up first but he decided he was comeing this way anyways we both lucked out.

I've enjoyed the first 3 episodes... It's starting off just as slow as BB did, which is a good sign!

Im one of the people that believe in bad luck infact today i got up to find the dryer hadn't turned itself on to dry mine and the kids clothes for this morning then realised one of car tyres is flat then theres a crash on the school run route then come home and have to park at bottom of street cos some tit parked in my bay so yeah bad day so far and its only 9:30

didnt take mine earlier either but both orders have been dispatched once dispatch was confirmed i kindlly sent a nice email to dennis saying how thankful i was for his freebies it was very much appreciated could they charge me the money and he said no issues occasionally happen with our system like this as they have been dispatch keep them as a kind gift lol

Haveing said that I doubt there would be much runtime left maby 2 or 3 mins and it would likely have no "punch" left, so properly a good cut off voltage in hindsight.

Yup! First attempt at soldering XD I stupidly was doing it on metal mess tins (What was i thinking!!!) got a heck of a scare but lesson learned ??.

Useing one of those self healing matts now though...certainly need more practice at it got there in the end.

One of the pins has a slight "chunk" missing whare it shorted out but it still makes contact so will leave it be untill or if it fails.

I was putting some EC5 connectors on a 5s lipo - I was using a knife to cut through wire casing and somehow managed to short it - vaporised the tip of the knife and scared the bejesus out of me! The lipo also has a weaker cell now :/

It dose...want to go 1x10 on my MTB + mudgurds and a custom jumper vs buying a gopro quad...i really really want a quad.

1x is the worst thing you can do fella believe me ive done it 2x10 is where ive returned to

Went with the quad...hmm dam now im going ti want a propper charger and radio and FPV kit soon...this is going to get expensive.

the prop issue was with the original A props. they replaced them with stronger b props.

Thanks turok iv been craveing a quad for ages and will only talk my self out of it so think I'll just pull the trigger on it I know its older but its a heck of a deal. Plus I know blade is generaly good stuff.

Hmm might order some quad bits and then some more the week after to finish the build, I'll have a look around then decode what to do, any other suggestions are more than welcome and not just air.

I wouldn't worry about it being a cheap toy brand, I actually own one and can honestly say it's a decent little quadcopter.
