best to go on fb page micro rock crawlers tbh.the model u got is ok,split box for lower crawler speed/ppl using these tires for other models/depending on connector,u can get 6-1s lipos for $25us/forward mounted motor helps.lots of parts out of stock atm.- 1 reply

the scx is a gud-un.but a lot of the stuff is stateside.the ftx 2.0[also known as the cr-24] is cheap [£67-£71 from ere at MS] u just need an extra batt and sum metal UJs and ur gud to go. there is also a dedicated fb page for it.

Brilliant facility, shame it died though
There are little pockets of micros across the country running, but nothing significant - from what I gather its all crawlers and bashers now, even TC are taking a hit and dwindling

as a side note,lots of people gettin micro crawlers.cheap to try to see if u like it/use indoors or outdoors.u can get a ftx mini 2.0 for less than £70?

if u filled it in between the runs,u cud trail from top to bottom! ie-fill in the complete frame.

most of the guys say swap out the trans from a rc4wd gelandeii[1/24th]which will give you a crawler speed that you need

your best bet is the ftx outback mini 2.0.good price/cheap available spares/dedicated fb page/upgrades/stocked at modelsport/1-24th scale.

yes,hong kong.annoying they say 5-10 days,but then blame couriers.shud av sed 3-6 weeks to be fair.

bought 2 models direct from the modelsport shop. being a wise ass,i thought i can get the upgrades/spares cheaper from hk. a delivery date of 5-10 days was great,but its NOW 6 weeks/they cannot find my package,even though it as a tracking number/wont refund my money,so now got paypal involved. the lesson is,you might possibly pay a couple of £s more from modelsport.BUT it will be delivered. [rip a-tees]
