  1. If its still at base settings, i'd recommend leaning out the LSN first of all just a little before you properly start tuning it (HSN first then LSN) So as its set rich for break in ... Lean the LSN needle 1/8th, or 1/4th clockwise, this will stop it bogging down when you acelerate away (dont lean the LSN too much for now) It should take off alot better now so you can start tuning the HSN untill you cant see any more performance increase, more importantly ensure there is always plenty blue smoke from the exhaust. Then richen the HSN 1/8th (anti-clockwise) just to ensure your running slightly rich rather than lean which will break the engine. Once the LSN is tuned, you can adjust the LSN the same way but i dont think it will need much tuning. P.S. read the guides for tuning as the more you read the better youll know what your engines saying to you.

    GTA4

Well i queued up last night for 45 minutes !! had a pre-order but it looked like we had enough copies up here (dumfries scotland) I delivered my mates copy to him then set off home (now 1:10am). got my ass sat down for a quick hour n a half to play it and my bloody Mrs came through and stole the controller off me !!!!! She went to bed at about 2:10 so i sat up till 2:30 trying to get at least 20 mins worth of play before i was back up at 6:45am for work ! So i sat for 45 mins waiting to buy the game, took a copy to my mates house then got my copy robbed by the mrs ! so all in all ive had about 20 mins game play !!! Damn i wanna play it now
  3. Sorry Ben i've not been on over the weekend, will add you tonight !
  4. Heres mine .. nowt special
  5. Some people say that it causes more back pressure but i for one think that a pile of crap, all its doing is aiming the smoke in a different direction, so i doubt it would make any difference at all. Yes it may sound slightly different but thats because the sound waves are also pointing in a different direction.
  6. Your on the break in so its gonna be rich but 1 minute for a whole tank ?? are you running the car on high revs ? If so it shouldnt be anywhere near half throttle even for the first couple anyway.
  7. LMFAO, well thats cheered me up today Ever heard the saying .... If its not broken ... dont fix it ! Its a shame really i spose, but my god i did laugh.
  8. Lol well ya learn summat new everyday, i never knew he wasnt english ! England stinks anyway Scotland FTW ! [disclaimer] Any views expressed in my reply are to be taken as a joke and therefore i reserve the right to laugh my ass off at any time. [/disclaimer]
  9. Trim possibly but not idle, if the idle was too high the brakes shouldnt stall it thats for sure.
  10. Thats what we've been through and hes said that the clutch isnt binding anymore.
  11. Ok you might need to raise the idle speed now then if your sure the clutch isnt binding. get it started and raise the idle (clockwise) then put it on the ground, drive it about a bit till its warmed up, retest it idles ok
  12. Yeah you wont get many people saying anything but good things about a Hyper. True the ground clearance isnt that of a MT but its still enough to make it decent at offroad. The Stadium trucks are good too so i wouldnt advise against one. The Hyper ST looks cool but i havnt had any experience of it. Hyper 7, there cheap, well built, good runners, very popular, and easy to get parts for. Main point being the cost, 180 squid cant be better spent. But if your set on getting a stadium, its not a bad choice, others should be able to advise on what model would be the best.
  13. You found a broken spring? what did you replace it with ? It wont be the gears as the engine should be able to spin freely without making the gears move, its the whole point in the clutch being there. The clutch bell NEEDS to be able to spin freely without binding when idling otherwise youll cause the engine to stall like you describe. I Think you need to take a look at the clutch bell, springs, etc and ensure that it can spin freely (with your finger) when the engine is off.
  14. Wasnt that the girl that went to band camp and stuck a flute .......... er ya know ...
  15. With the engine off move the clutch bell round with your finger, if the clutch shoes are engaging the clutchbell it will be stiff to move and will possibly make the car move. If it moves freely without much pressure then its fine, you may have a problem with the carb settings instead. My money is on the clutch shoes/springs being broken.
  16. Yup its too rich by the sounds of it. Get it back to factory defaults then LEAN the LSN 1/8th or even 1/4th Click the link in my signature for more tips.
  17. Yeah I still cant fly my Lama towards me without it hurting my brain, so many things to concentrait on. Being a single rotor heli its gonna be less stable in the air than the lama, and try not to hover too close to the ground, as the "ground effect" will bob it all over the place anyway. Best thing is to get it up quickly but controlled, get it about head height, it should be easier to hover / balance then.
  18. i doubt that, i bet you get a more fierce explosion from butane than nitro fuel. But anyhoo we dont use streight methanol anyway do we ?
  19. Well im not one for jumping my car much really but its not really advised to land on full throttle as it wrecks your diff gears. so use throttle mid flight but try to stay off it when you land.
