  12. Hi all, I wish to sell one of my Firestorms. It is a brushed version and only a few months old from Modelsport. In great condition although been used. It is the 2.4ghtz waterproof version. It also has T Bone bumbers and wheelie bar. Comes with the box, original battery and charger. I am not sure how much to sell it for. Would sell it on ebay. I have the flux version and now want another brushless but need some more funds. Thoughts would be great before I advertise. Thanks.
  13. Can anyone link me to some longer body posts that dont need modding and can fit straight into the existing mounts. I need both front and rear longer mounts. Thanks.
  14. Like many, I am upfront with this and normally say, "Sorry but I dont let strangers have a go."
  15. Thanks Si, I had heard about the rules and was put off some time ago about joining a club. There are 4 or 5 in a 20 miles radius. This one is closest though. I would like to learn more about the classes and cars though. Struggle to find any information. Big help from you guys although I guess this is not this forums scene?
  16. Thaanks, they seem to have numerous classes, stock, hotrod, banger etc. I take it all of these are based upon the Mardave v12? Is Mardave the only name in the market for this type of racing or is there more I should look at?
  17. Although not in the area good luck with this. I am looking to join to a local Carpet oval racing club but know nothing about the cars etc, any idea where I might find out? I have only used bashers till now. Again, good luck with this.
  18. Hi all, I may pop along to this club which is local to me but I am wondering what they race. I know nothing about indoor cars! Any info and advice or sites which show what sort of cars these are would be great. Link below. http://marchraceway.weebly.com/
  19. Also use this site alot. Very popular in the Airsoft community. I find there nimh's good but never orders a lipo from them. Very good service and friendly people who run it.
  20. I have EDS and I find them very good I must say.
  21. Thanks guys, I was looking at an old sand scorcher earlier on and it got me thinking. I must say they look like an excellent peace of engineering for a RC car. So, does Tamiya use metal in the right parts? Is that a good example?
  22. Hi all, I am interested in learning more about RC cars that use metal parts like the Sand scorcher that uses die cast metal. Are these cars stronger? What was there primary use? I have got a thing for scale RC cars but like to lightly bash as well, would this be a suitable solution. My experience of Tamiya plastics have not been great.
  23. I had thought about buying this myself when on ebay but did not have enough pennies. You have done a good job with it. Is it strong? I think it looks awesome!!
  24. I find a wife a good tool to limiting the amount of money and time I spend in the hobby.
