  1. This thread is brilliant for all those electric questions, including what battery type, ESC, etc. Plus, there's an excellent Firestorm thread on here;
  2. I would've thought 60A was a bit underpowered personally, 90-120A and 3S ready would be a safer bet mate. But for the money that was a good setup! There's plenty of new setups for just a bit more though; http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=EZrun%20combo&_sop=15
  3. 42 this month, but still playing with toys & riding bicycles down steps This could do with being a poll really, can we do such things here?
  4. Agreed, seriously sexy! *drools*
  5. That's gonna be awesome mate, looks pretty bombproof as stock too, just add some RPM suspension arms and you're good to go Last I noticed Outlaw were apologising as over stacked with work & running a backlog
  6. Guys, don't take this shiznit personally, just offer advice to the thread starter & be done with it. No need to start an argument over semantics !!
  7. No Worries Happy to help a fellow MTB lad!
  8. As above, there's loads of cheap mods on that thread too, making it a stronger beastie, and covering the stock issues that you can fix before they break http://www.msuk-foru...-owners-thread/ From what I've read they seem brilliant little trucks for the outlay, and with just a few upgrades you'll have a rockin monster! ps: we do have a pretty useful Search tool on here. A search for "FTX Carnage" will get you a long way, and should find the thread I've linked above
  9. Nice work matey, that'll be a solid little flyer once complete! Also spotted the shock towers in first pic's, they look well tasty & strong
  10. Good Call, at least it's had a blast before it gets put on show
  11. Bloomin eck, that's a classic and in great nick mate, nice one! Should go well with that 4300 onboard too. Haven't seen a mechanical SC for ages, eee the memories
  12. Glad to see G-Rat's having fun again, was worried about ya for a while there fella! Some good footage, and some heavy landings there guys G-rat - just checked out your DnB website, seems the download links are either dead or just don't work on my Android phone Tried the top 3 without any joy at all, am at work so can't test on a PC atm.
  13. That's a fantastic conversion job fella, seriously tidy! Love the way you've pretty much rebuilt the truck, and those motor mounts look fantastic. Big prop's to the guy who made your alli bits too, really nice work.
  14. Is that from that last heavy stack pictured above Smash, or dya think they've been dodgy a while? Great thread this, even for us non-Carnage owners! Some excellent ideas on bracing & custom building parts. Me likey
  15. Nice budget fix Nate, leaves a good area for your radio gear n stuff too
  16. Yup, maybe just a 'servo reverse' switch on your transmitter mate.
  17. As suggested above, get down to the track you wanna join and chat to the guys. You'll find the majority there run cars that are best for that track, so you'll have plenty of setup knowledge around to improve the handling etc. Also helps when it comes to breakages, if others have the same car you'll most likely be able to borrow/buy spares to repair any damage & keep racing that day. If driving something odd you might end up packing up n going home early from a simple crash.
  18. Dude that is one helluvva sweet buggy! Shell is awesome, love the detail around exhaust output. Excellent work.
  19. WOOHOO! Should be ready for anything now dude, should also go like a frikkin rocket !!
  20. I would've thought the Hyper shocks would be better for racing than your FTX stocks?
  21. Think Luke has found a link for "uncut Hyper 7 shells for electric" on ModelSport website, check the thread in here === edit === Sorry, JAKE has found an uncut shell *worship*
  22. If your inner shoulders are wearing much faster than rest of tyre, your camber is setup too positive (i think). If you adjust your top suspension arms outwards, the tyres will sit more 'square' on the deck, if that makes sense? Check the sticky regarding LiPo's at the top of this forum, you'll get a better idea what improvements a different battery could give. Good luck on your project mate, sure you'll get it more suited to your style & driving areas. Jay.
  23. My thoughts exactly, that's a lot to ask of a budget end charger!
