well after knackering my battery as previous post just wondering what battery to get next, my ftx edge brushless is really just used for messing about in the park etc so could do with something a bit punchy more so than longitivty . cheer guys

Hi guys, im using a powerpal ETO-200 charger and im getting an error message of BATTERY CHECK LOW VOLTAGE when i try and charge one of my lipo batts, my other battery is fine i left the said battery in the car and its completely discharged, have i goosed my battery or is there something i could try ? many thanks ash

also as regards the plastic gearsmcan they be upgraded with metal ones as an upgrade to avoid this happening again thanks daz

hi mate im running 2s told 3s would just strip the gears why are you using 3s .?

fraid not never had one with it maybe i can download something off the net, i did notice the motor seemed a little hotter than usual will have a strip down and check it out

Hi guys, picked up a problem with my car and im a bit baffled to be honest, when the car drives theres a lot of resistance like driving a real car with the handbrake on, when you pick the car up the rear wheels are fine when turned independently by hand however when turn both wheels together forwards theres an awful lot of resistance needless to say the car has oly half its normal speed because of this and its also making a strange winding sound, anyone any ideas? many thanks

hi again mate think im gonna try a higher mah battery like yours was really looking for a bit more top end speed but dont want to compromise the acceleration too much like you say when the clutch is set right its damn quick from a standing start, let me know how you get on with new wheels and tyres too as im going to be due a new set of rears soon, the inside shoulders of the tyres are wearing out really quick, really loving the car though ive rolled it a few times bounced it off a few kerbs and the thing just comes back for more, what amazes me is that its no slower on grass as it is on tarmac the motor must be very torquey so to speak, im no RC expert but it seems quite easy to get used to too probarbly why im looking for a bit more power, anyways nice to chat to another edge user any good tips etc please send this way and obviously vice versa ash

hi evo we have chatted before regards my ftx edge front end crash i posted some pix on here that you requested, anyways i got the 45mph quote from the guy who sold it me at my local model shop, i have also tightened up the clutch on me and know what you mean about it popping its front end up try it on the living room carpet lol, interesting point you made regards the battery thinki may try that as m considering another battery anyway, how fast do you thonk yours goes then before and after you upgraded your battery? ash

Hi all starting to get used to my car now after a weekend blasting around my local park, my car is clamed to do about 45mph but realistically i thnk it does about 35mph or am i just getting used to it who knows! Whats the easiest way to get more power im using the supplied 7.4 lipo voltz 2500 mah lipo battery and ive also bought a 2nd one just the same, maybe an uprated or better battery or motor any suggestions would be appreciated. ash

ok spent sunday after the GP rebuilding this car and all good couldnt test properly outside because of the relentless rain but seems to run all fine, when you take apart though quite a lot of different sized screws and bushes and washers etc quite an intricate piece of engineering but feels good to sort it on my own

hi turns out i had a faulty lead from the charger to the battery all sorted now good to go

Hi guys ive just purchased the above chargers to charge up my 2 x voltz 2500 mah lipo batteries and im struggling a bit with the instructions, theres no real instructions of how to charge the batteries, ive muddled through with the various supplied leads and plugged in the balancer and the big red and black plug in to the charger powered it all up and come up with the error message "INPUT VOL ERROR" which apparently means the voltage of input power drops below the limit but nothing in the instructions as to what to do about it, also what ampage shold i be charging on. hi Evo-ermine ive created an album titled 1st big shunt to the gallery in the forum of my rather bruised FTX edge not sure how to tag it to this thread the parts ive ordered (which half are still on back order after two weeks from apex models) are, 6606 front bumper 6601 front tower mounts 6603 front top plate 6611 steering assembly 6610 shocker tower really want to get on and sort out the car but as i say still awaiting parts!!!

looking forward to giving it a go myself still waiting for parts though!!!
