    That’s not my handy work, certainly not taking the credit....last time I visited was last summer, on a very very hot day... There was access to power for charging. Can’t remember seeing any spares etc...

    Ditto, mine was Xmas present 1980, the year of release, when I cleared my father’s house out, there it was dis assembled and in its box, could not believe it....

  9. Any idea if there is a Proline shell which will fit, I am not the biggest fan of the stock xxl2e one....
  10. Glad to see this thread being used again, I am about to get my XXL e out of storage for use this summer, it has been over shadowed by the X Maxx to long... If memory serves me right the steering servos are not that good, so I have a couple of 1256 in stock, which should sort that issue. Also the need to keep a good eye on the slipper clutch nut, they had a habit of working loose after a couple of runs.

  12. I have one for sale, although it’s a mixture of HPI & KM, loads of upgrades, currently has a storm cage and body, but I do have the original body etc. It would need collecting, tad to heavy to ship, I am based in the East of England.

  14. cutting out and sanding edges afternoon. This is for my Kamtec LWB V12 to be run at either Great Yarmouth ,Brentwood, Ardleigh Raceways....
  15. number and name added. all fixed up, ready to do battle again next week....
  16. Final prep for the start of saloonstox at my local club tomorrow night, hopefully my numbers and racing name decals should show up tomorrow in time...only two more bodyshells to paint, long night ahead....🤣
  17. 4274 installed, off to get soldered up tomorrow, 4mm plugs to start with, as you get 1mm adapters for 5mm batteries...👍
  18. finished cutting the Jag S type, a bit of sanding then paint and decal time...
