Any one know the Sh .25 p5 factory Lsn setting? its the engine with my hong nor x1x-cr

hi guys, just a quick update. ran tank 5 at half throttle. tank 6 at 3/4 throttle then tank 7 touching wot for 2 secs at a time tank 8 i ran at 3 second bursts of wot i think im done but sounds silly. how will i know when its broke in ??

excellent cheers guys :-) al start off tank 5 to 1/2 throttle tank 6 to 3/4 tank 7 to 1/4,1/2, 3/4 then tank 8 to full throttle then the joys of tuning :-) the fuel and smoke are still flying out of the exhaust so its running very rich :-) had to reset the hsn , factory was set to 2, 1/2 turns. so i reset it to 3 turns

hi folks started breaking in my x1xcr buggy in yesterday wondering if i am doing this right? any help would be appreciated. HSN 3 turns out LSN 3 turns out idle : 1mm Yesterday heat the engine up to 60 degrees c with a hair dryer then ran tank 1 at idle and temp never went above 70 degrees c let it cool at BDC ran tank 2 at 0-1/4 throttle watching the temp it never went above 90 degrees c , had to turn the Lsn is 1/8th of a turn clockwise as it was cutting out when touching the throttle. tested at end of tank by pinching the fuel line and the engine revs went up a little then cut off. let it cool at BDC and put some after run oil in. Today ran tank 3 let the engine heat up then ran at 0-1/4 throttle and the temp went up to 110 degrees c. let it cool at BDC. ran tank 4 ran at 0-1/2 throttle and kept the temp up at 90-110 degrees degrees c let it cool at BDC and put some after run oil in. had to head home because of the rain :-( when i come off the throttle the temp drops down slowly .. am i on the right track?

ave always just stuck with os.8 glow plugs mate. a stay in cold & wet scotland tho lol

Deleted Sussed it found the break in guide hidden in the box Doh sh21 - Sh28 hsn is 3 turns out from closed.. got the sh21-sh28 break in guide with my x1xcr and its got a sh25 engine. could send it to you if you want mate.

defo got a venom temp monitor so that i can do the break in and tuning to perfection :-) got 2 days off this week so thinkin il be breaking it in then. prob just use the old school method.. any views on break in ?

its defo the same as mine. Tho the one i got from modelsport came with the 2.4Ghz digital radio gear and a load of modelsport/msuk-forum decals Not sure if the one on jespares is an older model or not should contact jespares

tested the radio gear and it has a failsafe built in :-)

just now in scotland its raining 24/7 and its about 5 degrees . soon as the dry weather returns am hitting the local motocross track with it for some serious bashing ..

Excellent advice folks . it arrived and boy am over the moon, its already hopped up compared to what my savage was like , most parts are aluminium :-) plus it came with 2.4Ghz radio gear with in built failsafe heres a pic :-)

any ideas what these parts are. i took 2 pics , 1 zoomed in on the 3 bags. from what i can see. the top left bag is spare servo parts and the top right bag is spare screws. its just the other bag i cant figure out what its for. cheers guys

my hong nor x1x-cr was the same, just had to drill 2 holes on the wing. I defo think they are just spares but the crt could be different. ill post some pics of the parts a received later when i get home to see if they are the same....

cool cheers buddy just realised it has no glow plug with it :-( looks like a drive to my local hobby store in the morning

Hi guys , got my x1x-cr and noticed its a 2.4ghz receiver and transmitter. i purchased a failsafe with the buggy but will i need to install this or will it not be needed as its 2.4Ghz radio gear??

Hong nor to me seems a better car .. just looking for web sites for upgrades and spare parts. any websites would be appreciated. just been stung in the past with buying an rc car then cant get parts for it..

kl no probs spoke to modelsport he advised to go with the hobao for parts availability etc... what uk web sites are good for x1x-cr parts ? had a look on jespares and it seems to be x1x-crt parts ...

Modelsport have the tq 2012 model is this the same as the pic above????????
