Hi, I would not use a ni-mh battery I would go for a lipo. they offer much more performance than any ni-mh and there dirt cheap of hobby king. this battery would fit in the RC18 as well and work with the mamba http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=26676 but you will need a lipo charger. As for gearing a 14 teeth pinion should be fine but if your going to buy a new pinon make sure it's a micro pinion and it needs to be 48 DP. Hi, you don't need to worry about that. you can wire it any way you like but you might accidentally reverse the motor so if that happens just swap two of the motor wires with each other and that will fix the problem

Hi, could you post a link to the motor otherwise I guess it should work. I use a EZ run motor in my RC18 with a turnigy trackstar ESC and I've also used different motor with the same ESC and it works fine so I don't see why it would not work.

Hi, to bind you will want to put the bind plug into one of the slots on the RX, then power the car on 1st and then turn on the TX, then after a few seconds it should bind.

For my RC18, I use a turnigy track star 1/18th ESC and for motor I'm using a EZ run 18T motor and both work great with the car. I'm also using 3s with the car and it is silly fast

I had problems with the diff (simple fix). the tyre's don't have much grip and wear out very quickly. I also had problems with the servo and the car also flips over alot. I can see you would want to go for the SCT so if you upgrade the servo and tyres, then it is a good truck to have

Go for the mini 8ight. I have the mini SCT and I've has so many problems with SCT.
