Same here. Nothing much seems to have changed.

HPI lineup the same. Traxxas still selling Stampedes and Revos and smoking electrics.

Same issues, same problems.

For me, the only thing that has changed is the local council have ruined most of the places close by where I could use my cars. Either sold off the land for redevelopment or let it go to ruin. The favourite trick is to allocate it for schools as the scare was a place shortage in schools....which gets them government money...then not build them because the ones we do have are not full. Now what was once a park is now 2ft long grass, weeds and little clearings full of empty beer cans and used needles. There is also now a glut of 'affordable housing' one bedroom studio flats that nobody wants, and half finished buildings that will get pulled down in 10 years time. But that is more a reflection of society rather then the hobby.

Shared housing is dragging the nation backwards a century atleast horrible places  mini hostels even. Only next door. Make frat houses look like good neighbors. Throwing 17yr olds in with 40yr known addicts its dumb. My little brother almost moved to one. But after viewing deceided to just stay at home. 

But i bet a good % of auction sales have the builders in making a home into 4 soon after purchase. Plus the illegal shared houses.
