    Just won a 6.5t SpeedPassion v3.0 on ebay for a fiver. Never run anything so low before and have no idea what to expect. Due to the size of Halifax, I can quite comfortably run a 13.5t Boosted. How much quicker/what differences should i notice with the 6.5t? Should i still run it boosted?! Don't think I'll race it, but should be good fun for the winter. Rich

    I agree. I'm amazed every time I have halifax track to myself that more people don't do it. It's so addictive - find it so much more fun than bashing, probably because I'm there with an aim or a purpose.

    0 boost firmware on ESC. On many ESC's the lights will blink in this mode - hence the name. We can increase the timing on our motors, some places don't allow it - unfortunately my motor only has +10. Our race is limited to 13.5t, so will try a couple of different gear ratios to increase my speed - think the lowest I can go i 5.2ish with the pinions and spurs I have, which wont be ideal.

    Just put my s411 back to blinky mode for tomorrow's race. Not run blinky for a good while, sounds sloooooooooow on the stand! Got a feeling ill be running a dinner plate sized pinion after the first race if its as slow as it sounds.
