  1. rover i tried patches - and gums , i just ended up caning the cancer sticks still i was doubling them ie wearing patches and chewing gum and still smoking, i found patches and gums just to weak. that when i went back to full time chuffing , but its come to a point the habit need kerbing full stop and i thought the best way would be vapourizing getting the nic level low enough i could then ween off the vape all together , trust me the cowboy aint a nice person when he aint been smoking, have a very short fuse and can be a right Ahole . just trying to quit in the quickest and most easy way without becoming a grumpy bear at the same time. ok real stupid newbie answer doddy , i dont have a clue how im smoking it , i just whack the button and draw on that pipe like its a lady of the night , if you get my drift. then i give it the little supppp of air after . i tried just drawing like im breathing and just coughed like a trooper, i try to smoke it like a ciggy and i cough like a trooper. i think its to strong i am not a heavy smoker , a light smoker have a puff leave the thing in the ashtray till i want another type of guy. can be half an hour to smoke a ciggy. the juice is 60/40 vg/pg and a 5mg nic strength in a 30ml bottle , i wondered if i could nip to boots grab some vg and just decant half and half ie half the 30ml bottle to 30ml of vg from boots would that make it less horsey and more weak in strength ? 30w = drinking a hot cuppa tea but trying to inhale it 25w = warm but cougher 20w = ok but cougher 15w = meh cougher and no vapour at all 10w = wait ten mins it crackles and a cougher with no vapour. i did drop a few drops on the two holes on the coil thing , then i filled it with liquid and left it for like 25 mins . every time i go to vape it im given a kick in the throat fro the vapour donkey and look at the left over tobacco tin .... i havent touched the tobacco tin since dinner time, and started vapouring at around 4:30
  2. got some american grizzly, meant to taste like strawberry laces . its nice BUT........... OMG its kicking me in the Throat like a wild donkey on angel dust , im doing it at 15w as said by dude in the store and its ruining me ...... im coughing so much im getting light headed and dizzy is that meant to happen , why is is so blooming hard on the throat ....... taste wise to me its like a blended tobacco taste you know like a cherry tobacco, but this has that hint of strawberry and that raspy after taste of the nic, its not sweet but its not bitter ...... BUT its a blooming throat mule kicker . Any ideas what i need to do, i tried light puffs but i coughed and no vaopur, i tried a big arse puff and choked my internal organs out and some smoke. should i ramp it upto 20-30w or do i need to go even lower ?
  3. my mate had an MTX50 honda total bag of shizzle 30mph crawler . one day i had the chance to get a battered and wrecked honda H100 , so that night me and his brother sat in the shed and done a stealth build, we yanked the stock 50 motor out and shoe horned in the H100 lump , lets just say the next few days he was learning how to keep the front end down in 1st -2nd and 3rd through the shifter box lol , he came back after a day out with his mates field riding and said the motor felt lumpy and it was grinding, worked out he had torn the rear motor bolt from the frame lug and shifted the chain line up by around half an inch, ruined a full rear sprocket there were parts of teeth left and the front sprocket was near to next a smooth disc lol . sad to say the sleeper MTX50 went to the scrap gods . best part he didnt even notice the full DEP exhaust system we rumbled from a ts50x and shoe horned onto it lol we sold that for 45 quid and the motor gained an extra 60 quid.
  4. I went with a Coolfire 4 2000mah internal running the Isub G tank , not a fan of sweet i think thats why i stopped in first place just apple and mixed berrys i ended up just feeling to sick from the sweet taste. not a fan of menthol so its gotta be a tobacco flavour without any vanilla ( also cant have any juice that contains grapefruit extract due to medications). just need something to get me to zero nic fast then ill quit fully on vaping to . this tank is huge so i may look at the innokin streamline 2ml tank , im thinking 2ml a day should be fine its gonna make me cut down faster and get of the nic quicker to.
  5. thank you, i been looking at a lot. the stick types just dont take my fancy. the Ego one i had just gave me more of a headache having to fork out on both liquid and tanks all the time, i was burning through 1.8mg 10ml bottles in around a week or less and found that once the tank got to about half full it was like being kicked in the throat by a donkey . right now i looked at the Joyetech AIO but im put off by the stick , looked at the kangertech ones and they to seem like a flashed up version of the old ego thing i had. i seen a Innokin coolfire mini , its £37 and an all in one so no need to buy batterys , coils seem cheap at £12 for 5 , i have a smok vape shop close'ish by and they have a sale with liquids marked a 99p a 10ml bottle i was thinking buying 5-10 bottles in say a 3-6mg . then once they have gone just go straight to a 1.5mg or zero mg rate and cold turkey the rest flavour wise im a gv yellow smooth smoker so something that has that same taste would be bang on, tried apple but it got sickly after a while, i tried mixed berry and had the same effect, but i did mix the two and it was a slighlty more plesant taste but still became sickly after a while, not a fan of all these mixy things.
  6. Ok i need to give up the cigirits . smoke 8-10 rollups a day ....... need a robostick thats not all bells and jangles . just need something to save me the £13 a week i spend on cigirits , i did whe i first had heart attack have a Ego with a small CE tank , but i gave up in the end it was costing more than a pack of tobbaco was so i started huffing the sticks again, BUT i now really need to kick the habit for my health . had like 5 chect infections over the spate of 4 months and they just dont go so quick any more so i need a robostick. its got to be simple, last a blooming good while , and not leak when its in my bike jacket , juice style not those little throw away expensive carts , im not a rebuilder either i just get stressed and throw stuff away when it gets to much so must be cheap on replacing bits and like i said last a blooming good while, it must also replicate the hit from cigirits to and take any old make of juice as i ahve very few shops close by and means i could be choping and changing juices often . need an idea on strength and some idea on whats good for my pocket looking at 20-30 quid all in at most inc liquid. currently i smoke GV yellow smooth
  7. well been wet sanding down panels ....... got the two foot well panels sanded to a near on flat and re-sprayed in rattle can gloss black and a darn sight better job than the last owner did. also tore of the front headlight shroud panel and craft knifed off the decals that got sprayed over with a rattle can, a good rub down with isopropol and a darn good rub with wet sanding its near flat ..... that to also gotta glossy black re-spray . today i been wet sanding and knifing of the rear panel decals and getting them as flat as possible left them on scooter and hopeful to tear them off and re-spray as soon as we get a break in weather. just going to tidy it up before i decide if i should sell it on....... i mean i put so much into this scooter yet i dont even enjoy riding it any more , each time i go out its wondering if im gonna break down and be forced to try and push it home again. found a yamaha T80 on a old B plate (84 model) no mot , flat rear tyre and in need of some loving care ...... asked owner what sorta price he had in mind given its got no ticket and requires a shed load of work, ie full strip down service , new brake shoes all round , oil flush and replace, two new boots fitted and the shaft drive and the motor needs a full respray due to peeling ....... i was shocked when i got a message back showing two t80s one for 650 a right bag of carp and another priced at £1,500 quid .......... i mean it need a lotta work and for the price he thinks he gonna get i could buy a new chinese copy or even better a junky C90 ...... i mean where do people get these ideas from he is expecting upward 450 - 500 for a non ticketed 84 model junker and its not even a honda cub, most T80's are left well alone as they are not so popular. did another motovlog (nsfw : not safe for work : perental guidence required ) , diesel in petrol lol
  8. Diesel in a petrol scooter ..... OH SHIZZLE ME yes big newbie mistake ..... but here i am again just a trip round the village incase it breaks down with my usual mutterings in the norfolk accent. we have a warbling 50cc at 7 mins in video, and at 20:18 we have a splutter bogg down to near stall but i manage to keep it going .
  9. Took the HPI 1/12th shortcourse ford runner-prerunner body, and just ran a very sharp craft knife right through the center. then i cut out that section and then line drawn two 5mm spacer lines on the cuttout section. next is to tape up the slimmer body pannels with the center joiner, wax seal them with good old car body wax polisher , then lay down some course glass fibre with a healthy adding of resin and hardener to form a body mould. The twin hammers shortcourse body hack has begun, no faffing around with trying to make bodymounts, just do it the TC way hack n slash - hack n slash with a little bit of tape here and plenty of glassing there
  10. cheap mans fix ........ super fine wire wool and a good decent named metal polish. use the wire wool as the cloth and really work that wool with the metal polish, once done install pipe and run it hot ...... let it cool down .... now take off pipe nip to halfords or likes and get a CAN OF HIGH TEMP exhaust paint ........ spray pipe , let it cure off ........ jobs a goodun its impossible to get rid of rust you can only treat to help protect but that means your gonna be polishing the pipe more than its run just to keep ontop of oxidizing .... when a pipes as bad as that the best way is removing most of the rust with wire wool and then blatting it with heat proof paint to stop any more happening. plus you get a nice black pipe
  11. Well pedro got flushed..... 6lt of derv extracted and 5.8lt of super unleaded put back in, started it up after god knows how long kicking it and it was like a WW1 trench , smoke everywhere lol i expected a fire engine to roll up and spray poor old scooter ......... ran the 5.8lt through got to 1/4 tank left and scooter died , wouldnt start at all. ended up with petrol pouring out of the airbox. removed foam filter and gave it a good wash, shoved a kitchen towel up the inlet to soak up the reast of the overflo and cleaned out the puddle of petrol from airbox itself ....... then i screwed everything back on and left it ........ tried contacting local bike shop but owner was not in and the wrench monkey wouldnt even look in teh booking in book to see if there was any spaces >>>>>> that really got me angry i mean i spent upwards a grand with this company fixing up pedro and its like they just dont wanna know any more ... SO i drained the carb bowl totally empty i mean bone dry , i even left the taps out to dry out the petrol vapours. screwed the taps back in, put key in and scooter fired up first try with a totally empty carb bowl. didnt even stall out when the bowl started to fill back up either. went for a short round the block ride but it keeps trying to stall out, you gotta be flat out on the throttle just to keep rpm up so it dont die . Got a feeling the derv thats left in tank aint mixing with petrol to well and once at 1/4 tank its settling in the bottom and being drawn up to carb GOD I HATE TWOSTROKES ... infact i hate scooters full stop just a right royal pain in the arse
  12. topgear replay tonight : king of the hammers racing , sabine goes wild nearly sets fire to truck !!!

Chris Harris? I'm warming to him and Rory will find his place soon enough. I agree about hollywood joey but in the unscripted(?) bits he can be pretty funny. I predict Harris taking over at some point, he's already shaping up to be the new clarkson. Like you say, the cheyron seg was a good watch. Still don't like jordan!

Still not there yet but getting better with every show. Actually enjoyed this and the last episode. The show felt forced earlier on but the presenters are starting to come together as a team now. Joey is indeed a bit wooden in the scripted bits but can be quite funny when he's given chance to adlib a bit.

I don't like Sabine or Eddie Jordan but I do think the main presenters are doing well now though. Joey is doing a damn sight better than Chris Evans.

  13. well compression test x2 passed, both to service manual standards of 100PSI . new ignition coil and new e-choke winging its way via royal mail to ........ then it had me thinking, could i be 100% sure thats only petrol in the tank, only one way to find out, decanted a small amount onto a brick and got the box of swan vesta matches out, struck a match and held it to the fuel ............. it did NOT ignite not one single bit ...... dipped finger into tank and had a feel, its not feeling like petrol its not evapourating like petrol either and its got that oily feel. YEAH most huge newbie mistake one makes ....... filling your tank with diesel. but i know why BP ULTIMATE diesel , yep has the same blue tab on the pumps front but very small wording diesel ........ the stuff i thought i put in BP ULTIMATE premium again its got a blue tab on the pump and small wording premium ........ Hell i never even knew you got premium diesel these days, so yeah i screwed up. Now waiting to pump the tank out, flush it, drain carb bowl and refill with unleaded, then its kick pedro to death until he fires up and creates the biggest smog screen i norfolk
  14. truggy rc18t i modded up with some leo x rims and tyres : RC18t paint splatter : https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3416793 RC18t high stance modded chassis image ( alloy rear shock towers and adjustable rear shocks ) :
  15. Spent my last pennys on a compression tester. need to find out if these rings are failing before i start trying to pull the head and jug off for replacement / rebore-hone . also need to fashion some other parts to create a leakdown tester, see if i have a bottom end leak via crank seals - reed valves - exhaust manifold - crank case half's . should be here tomorrow or saturday so i can bash on and start to diagnose pedros faults
  16. RC18B with the GPM CC is more so for racing hence its lower front end stance allows it to hug the ground more have better center of gravity and means swifter on the corners. used to set my RC18T converted to buggy with a really low front end and rear when i had the mamba 8000kv fitted. my second RC18t i retro fitted rear shock towers on the front and added a set of rear shocks to the front, it gave the whole truck a higher lift appearance , BUT i had to have a custom one off body made to fit the new shock and tower setup .
  17. tell me about it, i looked up how much a wheelchair would cost, just a standard steel chair is £200 , renting a week £30 - renting a day £10 . i weight 45kg and a chair what thats like 20kg , so me and the chair weigh 65kg, yet doc and cardiac specalist says dont lift no more than 10kg . i only just have the energy to hold onto pedro at full chat. then my house, built in 1980 its not even adapeted for wheelchair use , door frames cant be adapted and front door entrance is a right angle , both front and rear doors are stepped and its got 13 rungs of stairs. its why i spend almost all day upstairs in my bedroom . jsa will say im unfit to work due to condition esa says im fit for work so im stuck in the middle , i dont know what to do. only jobs i can do a sedentry work and not office jobs and high stress ie selling. im kinda getting screwed over, theres drug addicts and drunks getting this esa yet someone thats go a bonified heart condition that slowly kills them is a scrounger lol. Only way out of this is going back to my heart surgeon and letting him stick me on the slab again, but that carrys a risk of a heart bypass if something goes wrong during the procedure or even risk of stroke , what do you do ?, havent even told the doc i had an angina attack pushing pedro home when it broke down either.
  18. i gotta try and fix it. gov has said im fit for work , yet i have not been offered or given a wheelchair to get around , they stopped my benefits to , also means i dont have an income to get the heart meds i need to keep me from having another major heart attack. also means i cannot afford to have pedro fixed in bike shop. so somehow i have got to drop this motor out , lift it onto a bench somehow and then tear it down without causing injury to myself, then i have to find a way to fix the cylinder - piston - crank and rings without no income. I may just visit docs see if they wil cut the gammy leg off atleast i could get around more easy and not feel like im being singled out any more . take about depressed and highly stressed its gone beyond that now
  19. Its dead RIP Pedro 2006 - 2017 top end let go and the poor thing injested piston rings into crank case. its pinched up the crank and ruined the lot. shot out main crank bearings, blown out the seals, scored the barrel and torn up the piston, worse part its only just had a new sport pipe and carb fitted to a cost of £170 . its 6 previous owners never care for the scooter so anything i done was just not going to keep the ol boy running much longer . works out the seller lied to me, the barrel is stock from factory same as piston its not a re-kit it never had a new top end in the first place, now if i knew this pedro would have had a rebuild in the two months i was off the road due to dvla problems and licencing. the damage is write off in other words in insurances eyes it costs more to repair the scooter than its market value ie £500 labour costs £180 new top end - £80 new crank - £18 new bearings - £14 new seals including the purchase price pedro stands me into well over 1k in cash, its scrap value not even £100 , worse still i only just re-newed insurance with a £104 quid bill and if i cancel i only get £75 quid back and have to then pay a £25 quid cancelation fee ( talk about getting ripped off ). I will be back on the road but i do not know when , i have to start all over again and save money so i have enough to buy a new scoot/bike , at the mo the current option is a chinese copy honda cub 50cc its the cheapest new bike i can find thats somewhat bullet proof ( proof comes to a friend in norway that imports and build them he cannot fault them in any way they built to honda specs ). so thats it for me guys im off road from now until god knows when . next bike is going to be a thumper fourstoke , i am giving up on two stroke tuning but will hang round the twostroke forums to offer advice to upcoming tuners but thats me done on the twosmoker side of things .
  20. i KILLED Pedro. had just filled with gas ( full 6lt worth) crawled up a steep hill at 25mph with the rozzers behind me, when i noticed some white magic fairy smoke, behind us was a boy'ish racer so i though hmm he got a half cranked head gasket. headed off and got about 400yrds to a 1000yrds down road when i galnced in rear mirror and see the biggest sheet of white fairy smoke ever, next thing i know pedro stalls out. im stranded on a dual section of road at prime time, i make it to a path way give the scoot a kick over , it fires up and then just dies on idle, i kick it again it idles up i add a slight bit of throttle and it stalls out. ......... yank the plug and its more blacker than the center of the universe and bone dry, i mean so dry you would think it was right out of the sahara desert. very very little compression and a really bad dripping black oil from the tuned pipe ............ i have destroyed what should be a not even a year old top end piston and barrel. i think the seller lied and never fitted a new top end as its got more rust than a rusty nail ( layering rust not new powder rust either ). now have to get pedro compression tested to see if the rings failed, if so thats gonna be a whole new ball game and a new top end jug fitted...... problem is the naraku aftermarket replacements are so bad they aint worth installing, poor casting and casting flashing still left in the ports and cylinder walls. so tomorrow i am going to order in a malossi MHR 70cc jug and piston kit , may also have to get a new crank if the rings went as theres a chance they could have been injested into the crank case bottom. so thats another big bill to. worse part i couldnt leave pedro anywhere safe to have him picked up or roadside as some little oink would steal it, so i had to push it the 4.5 mile home myself , broke down at 5:15pm and got in the front door at 9:40pm......... not feeling to great due to the added strain on the ol ticker either, so yep tami is off the road for a time while i repair and upgrade pedro
  21. Trip to Infinity Motorcycles in norwich to grab a face mask to prevent fogging of visor and glasses, at the same time i do some window shopping at the Harley Davison store and Lind BMW 19:55 - Harley store 21:30 Lind BMW
  22. So after some camera modding , i installed a mono lapel mic into the Spada Intrepid dual sport helmet , kitted up and went for a short ride to the doctors. YES for all you old forum folks you will finally get to hear old TC yabbering away about nonsense in his very first motovlog with him talking. feel free to subscribe to my youtube channel , offer riding advice - ask questions or poke fun at me via this thread. youngsters remember Dress for a slide dont be a fool wear the right gear all the time and Freedom is the Open Roads
  23. cheeky monkey you. nope 8 days if you count the bad weather and rain, im not going to stand outside tear off front panels and let all that water get everywhere lol. i dont have much hair as it is let alone frying myself and getting a new spikey hairdo at same time. anyways i update insurance last night gone from TPFF to fully comp. the FF was costing me £108 but the renewal stuck an extra £10 on top. quick call on the blower and a nice chat to the lady advisor (hubba hubba , sounded like alexia /siri ) got myself upgraded to fully comp with 8000 mile travel allowance for £104 , saving of £14 quid and fully comp not bad going i dont think. still looking for a new scoot to , but i have been drawn to the darkside, a couple online friends own honda cubs and invited me to a cub group ( yeah i fell in love with street cubs right away) so i have been looking for a cub of some type. found a brand new cub 50 for £795, its a chinese copy but even the cub groups are saying they are a good decent scoot to grab plus honda parts are direct swaps. a 110 cub is 895 + 99 delivery + 55 registration so thats 1.050 quid all in, BUT the 50 cub thats 795 +99+50 thats £949 all in , being fourstroke they will be better on fuel usuage and the 50cc i can just throw a 90cc jug on and get it registered as a 90cc cub. so it will pull 60mph all day no problems and keep me up with traffic flow on A-roads near enough. got a lotta saving to do first , unless i can find a original cub around somewhere thats not breaking the bank
  24. well its fixed. ripped off the front headlight cowling, pulled off the front handlebar cowling, removed both main light switch and dimmer switch. checked continuity on all switch prongs and everything is fine showing full continuity where needed. Then it was to the wiring loom , yeah that birdnest they call a loom and everyone is scared by, so i tested all lighting wires high beam - low beam - main switch harness - and also resistors, all came to continuity where they should and ohms testing on restistors passed. but still the low beam failed , it was puzzling me ...... grabbed an upgrade halogen bulb and a trip to the breakers yard for main light switch and dimmer switch of a honda SFX ( funny they use the exact same switches as sym) . installed them but the standard bulb still failed no low beam. i then installed the upgrade halogen started up the scoot and would you know it high beam - low beam OMF lowbeam works. so there i am thinking a wire was loose, tore the front off again installed the standard bulb fired up scooter ....... ARGGGGGHHHHHHH lots of explicit language came from my lips lol. yeah the low beam stopped working again. i am stood over bike with a large hammer wanting to beat it into submission, then i notice on the bulb (made in china ) yep made in china by some unknown ding dang dong company .......... it cant be that. so i tested the bulb > high beam to ground in continuity - lowbeam to ground in continuity - high beam to low beam in continuity WHaaaaaaaat the hell . that should not happen .... retest and a long BEEEEEEEEEP what the hell why is it in continuity . out comes the magnifying glass , i inspect the bulb base and find a micro crack and shard of ceramic missing so all that time and it was down to some ding dang dong stupid chinese made bulb. I have been running with a make shift upgrade halogen just so i could flash folks when needed and refrained from night time riding , as the upgrade bulb gets to hot and risks melting my headlight lens and bulb holder ( yeah they are chinese to and plastic ) , today mr amazon delivery man came with a lovely brand new Philips branded Duplo BA20D bulb so looks like im back on the road and night time rides. I also had to remount and source some sticky pads for the MV camera gear as someone decided to tear my camera of the chin bar on my dual spot helmet. surfice to say its all fixed now
  25. pass your test - get a CBT now find a cheap 125cc runnabout , spend the two years on the cbt to gain up insurance , i ride a 50cc scooter aged 45 on third party fire theft and its a max £100 a year ... tax is 17 a year and mot is 29 a year , hat gloves jacket and work boots all you need just to commute, full tank of gas around £8 its gonna get you around 80+mile to a gallon , insurance as your a rider your insurannce is gonna be cheaper , dont go mad like a cbr125r or a wr125cc , choose wise a popular bike is gonna have a huge insurance hit due to the fact they are more inclined to be stolen and rode by younger 17yr olds that DO and WILL crash them so that sticks you premiums higher. a cheap 125cc scooter is good idea. use the bike to learn some road sense, experiance is key and not claiming on your policy , after two years swap insurance over to a car, you already have no claims you have two years insurance so your not a hot customer or an at risk customer you also have had those two years on the road so your less likely to have a ding to . yes you may think your going backwards but at same time your pushing forwards , having that two years insurance will help to and no claiming will go with you also, in the year i been riding i have totted up 2002 miles , i think your 10,000 is a bit high i would come down to around 6-7k miles ........... insurance miles, the more milage the more at risk the company see's you at having an accident to , do a couple of more quotes but pull down the yearly miles driven , i will say you should see a lowering in the premium cost to.
