  1. try pre-soak prep a coil, not sure how those coils are but if the have a spit guard flick it out and give the wicking a good few primes with juice , insert into the tank, then fill the tank BUT leave it to sit for around 10-15 mins so it can leach the rest of the wicking. then low watts, hit the fire button a couple times at say 20w ..... now leave it at 20w and take a toot, see how you go its gonna be a cold vape just a straight to lung draw . then leave a couple mins and prime toot it. then take a second fired toot see how it feels, then up the watts by one or two untill you get to that spot you like. my isub coils were like this until i worked out they vape best at 20w with a primer prep and a non fire dry toot followed by a fired toot then a second dry non fire toot. after that they came out a lot better, i think its due to the pre wicking on the coil before filling tank and then letting it sit to leach the reast of the wick. heres what i found, higher the watts the more the spit and dry hits ( burnt coil) ... lower the watts the less spit but a more cooler vape and no sign of dry hits if they make a RTA for the helmet i would maybe look into grabbing one of those and then making your own coils, if your not to sure on coil throwing give me a holler and i will knock up a few for you at the ohms you need ie if you want a sub ohm 0.5 coil settup i would throw dual coils each giving 1.0ohm so when in dual they pull down to 0.5 ohm sub coils . .... if you wanted a single coil i could throw you a few 26g 5 wind 0.5ohm coils . i gotta say i been a convert to cotton bacon wicking its fantabulous stuff beats the old cotton wool balls hands down to
  2. been really hammering the rosey apple, its propper lush so much so the 60ml i got is nearly all gone , think i am going to get two rosey apple one at 3mg shot and the other at 0 shot then just adding both together to bring me down to 1.5mg a nice sweet spot. still vaping at 20w . mod wise im more likely to bash the Ipower5000mah running the Goblin tank and the large capacity glass and tower. micro coils im getting better at made some 2mm micro coils 9 wraps of 26g kantahl and they came out at 0.47ohm . im tooting these at a cool 20w or 3.99v thats dual coiled with skinny wicks. the Crius tank keeps leaking from the bottom vents, im thinking its due to liquid drip down the air holes so i tend to pass the crius over and mosh on the goblin, being a 22mm base it fits lush on the mod. flavours, i treid custard and nearly puked i really cant stand that creamy taste its off putting but the rosey apple has this very very slight hint of custard creamyness but its palateble . gammuci has stopped making the absinth stuff i liked so im now just a apple freak , my strawberry juices are flavour less, i have boshed near on 7ml of flavourings to a single 30ml bottle and its still flavour less, i even supercut a 30ml bottle with an extra 40ml of vg and its still flavourless. worse thing is thats 150 ml of juice thats cost me 30 quid thats useless. i am in two minds to pour it down the toilet. need to grab a mini burner torch i want to get rid of all cancer stick stuff so that means clipper lighter to im using that to pre heat my coils so i can get the spring out of the coils and means less pre heating on the mods to get them nice and tight coiled and heating sweet. i found preheating and using tweezers to get coulds nice and tight together then installing and burning a couple times on the mod to set hotspots works better. the coolfire got modded up its now decked with a sweet chrome orange body wrap
  3. The alechemists cupboard is my local , hit them up on interweb. http://www.thealchemistscupboard.co.uk/ they do diy kits you get PV-VG , 5 choices of flavours, set of gloves a mixing tube and gizmos and 4-5 bottle of one shot nic. you add the nic to the measured PG/VG drop in the flavouring, give it a blooming good shake around and your done. the nic level is 3mg. i got a cheapy 60ml 3mg nic diy kit for 12 quid grabbed the rosy apple choice and mixed it up very simple just adding the 10mg nic shot bottle to the 50ml premixed flavour base. simpler way is buying teh nic shots and PG and flavouring from the cupboard, then head down to your local Boots chemist and grab a bottle of Value Health Glycerin B.P (200ml) it costs like £1.75p for 200ml and with the PG the nic shots and the flavourings you can make upwards 250ml-300ml of e-juice , thats 8 x 30ml bottles should last you a very long time.
  4. well the coolfire 4 just didnt cut it to short vape time and the lowly 2000mah battery had me charging it every day twice.............. did i go back onto the cancer sticks .... hell no i gotta new box lol now rocking a Eleaf Istick Power 80w mod with a 5000mah lipo battery inside , the little coolfire got a make over i gave it a lovely chrome orange wrap and its my back up vape or my on the scoot vape .......... while in the store and close to the 20th may deadline for selling stuff i found a box on the shop desk with a good few tanks inside all brand new boxed and priced at a fiver each. i dug around and found a UD GOBLIN RBA lets just say that little tank came home with me lol. its a shame but its only a dual coil build so i have had to learn micro coils and nano coils , been building 1mm and 2mm nano coils from 26 gauge kanthal and coming in at 0.3ohms well in keeping with the coolfires 0.3 cutoff and the ipowers 0.1 cutoff . nice thing is the i power also does TC control and i can run stainless Ni and other wires to coils have just been standard wraps , no fancy twisted - staple - claptons just straight n dirty stock coil builds ........ now down to 1mg nic strength to but vaping has somewhat got stale as im in the middle of saving for a new scoot/bike so i am trying to save pennys and cut down fully on vaping to but its a hard task as im still craving the nic hit but i am getting there slowly and sure
  5. doing the maths and adding all mot's up the clock miles dont work out right, so the scooter had new clocks fitted at some point. i sat with an online buddy and we worked out the scooter has around 28.000km on clocks , thats 28,000km on the stock crank and bearings to , inspection shows they are factory installed bearings never swapped out ( when you replace a crank you replace bearings to ) , the scooters whine is a sign the bottom end is on its way out , the vibration is the ball bearings slapping the inner bearing face. to replace the bottom end is just over £110 in parts . thats installing an uprated hardened full crank and upgraded bearings and seals, at the same time its kind of pointless giving the bike a new bottom end and leaving the top end, with the bottom bearings going its nodoubt going to affect the top end slight piston slapping and wear on the upper needle carrier and bearing itself so a replacement would be due, more so better to just install an 70cc kit having an alloy head and barrel would be alot better cooling wise, BUT cost of that kit is £140 . already over the price i paid for the scooter in first place ...... then its labour costs , £50 an hour and its what a 6-7hr job so we are looking at like £400-500 in labour shop charges . been trying to get quotes on some new bikes i like , zeths supercub and a skyteam dax copy . skyteam dax copy 3rd party fire theft was £600 and then the excess of £750 , this is a 110 cc bike worth 995 new the zeths supercub i cannot get any quote at all only company would be adrian flux and then is a ball breaker sky high cost . im spending next two months feathering the scooter around as i try save to get a honda original , but i may have to just stump and go with a chinese scoot and keep ontop of it work wise
  6. Just cant find a coil that gives what i need. i have tryed all the below in sizes 2.0mm - 2.4mm -3.0mm 26g twisted @0.35 ohms 26g single @0.6 ohms 24g twisted @ 0.5 ohms 24 single @ 0.45 ohms all in dual and single coil configs , the twisted were ok but the ramp up time is yonks and running at a higher wattage produces a more hotter vapour , im more a cool vape guy, like my vape cool , still suffering from vapers flipperflop . getting very slight hints of strawb but its still a bland vape , the gamucci puke juice aka blueberry - absinth - mint. this is what i taste , i get a blast of menthol like mint with an overtone of something i cant say what it is, theres no blueberry tone at all its more just minty , but im starting to like this puke juice the more i vape it , so that cannot be a bad thing right ? got some anml carnage meant to be strawberry laces like flavour, asked for 3mg but they only had 6mg ........ got home loaded up the crius rocking a twisted 24g coil, took a deep drag and my head melted .......... yeah funny 6mg the shop sold me 12mg , had to thin it out with boots vg and drop an extra 3.2ml natural strawberry into both bottles to bring it down to around 6mg. but its still double or more what i aimed for. i been cutting down on nic and had been at 1mg
  7. I have been rocking the OBS Crius in single coil mode running on a 0.57 24g kanthal , the ol flipflopper is starting to get taste back, but i needed to kickstart it more, gamucci bluberry - absinth - mint ...... omg this stuff if gross my first inhale was more of one not trying to puke lol, but after two two isub g tanks i started to like the flavour. while at the vape store , i gained interest from a little tiny guy, one of the workers lads was in with his mum, and upon seeing the dual sport bike lid , he was hassling mum " motorbike - motorbike " and pointing at me.......... so what does one do, well this ol cowboy turned to mum and dad and asked them if the young fella ( about 4yr old) would like to wear the hat ...... lets just say he was smiling like a cat from ear to ear and when we put the sun visor down him and mum had a selfie session ...... meanwhile i had noticed a little box on the counter with a " All for £5 " ticket on the front, i looked in and there it sat a UD goblin RTA, i mean for a fiver your stupid not to grab it so it came home with me. upon opening i found it to be the V1.5 model , with an extra long funnel and a larger 5ml glass tank . thats a right bonus 2ml or 5ml , also upgraded my mod box to. the little 2000mah battery in the coolfire just aint cutting it , so i grabbed a knocked down Ileaf istick power , 80w with a huge 5000mah lipo power source. got home and put it on a topup charge and installed the mankey bluberry - absinth and mint isub tank onto the coolfire. there i am fiddling with a micro deck trying to install 3mm coils to it. talk about no space lol ,each time i had to adjust -adjust - swear -adjust-swear , then i remembered i also grabbed some 26g kanthal. out came the 2mm watchmakers screwdriver and a tiny 7mm coil was built, but then it dawned on me no blocker so i had to go dual coil. again 5 mins later i had the goblin butetred up with dual 7 wrap 2mm coils coming out at 0.36ohm ........ way to close to the coolfires minimum 0.3ohm limit. installed on the istick and running at a healthy 20w fully open on airflow its a freaking mini cloud machine well withing the 0.1ohm build max on wattage mode for the istick but its awesome i filled it with my strawberry vape just in hope that the old flipperflopper would some how taste that lush ripe strawberry flavour, kicked the fire button and there it was OMG vapours tongue had started to go, i could taste the flavour abiet slightly mild but its was working, that gamucci puke juice had started to work some wonders.
  8. lol got a classic hit of vapers tongue , been stuck to menthol all day trying to kickstart my taste buds back into life again ........ they have gone wild due to the instant stopping of smoking ciggys and over indulging in blooming lush strawberry flavours lol , so im some what on a bland vape trail at the mo everything including menthol is somewhat tasteless . good note, i made up a 3mm coil jig from an old rc antenna i had laying around and a block of balsa from the boat builds. been running some small 24awg 3mm 5 wrap 0.5ohm coils , got the hang of them very quick so hand spun a couple of 1.0ohm coils and lobbed them into a dual build on the crius 18mm deck....... But it was not enough i had to go fancy so i made a twisted kanthal 24g 0.6 coil ..... check this monster out This thing chucks out vapour like a volcano in full swing lol its a monster but ramp up time is a long haul job, by the time it kicks in your almost outta breath but it creates some huge arse clouds
  9. they make it look easy BUT first off you have to valet the windows . then you have to line and cut the tint to window shape using outer window as the template. then you have to take that template cutout to the glassboard , thats been sprayed to hold the tint. then you have to peel off the backing to expose the adhesive. OK sounds simple right ?, lol NO you now have to wet the adhesive and then without getting any dust/dirt on that prepped tint or the prepped glass inner on the motor and carry that now prepped tint to the window and mount it. that means boot is open and your working upside down. its a case of getting the tint on and then using the wetness to allow it to be moved around into place, then you have to squeegie the water out so the adhesive takes to the glass. PROBLEM : tints come in differing flavours , problem is most ebay stuff will be ilegal due to not allowing the right amount of light through. if mr plod catches you they can enforce a removal of tint there and then at road side, its not bloomin easy getting it off than it is to get the thing on, found to be over the legal light limit, thats points and a fine if possible or maybe a slapped wrists and a produce car without tint order. Having it done pro means your in the realms of being legal, you dont have to worry about the prepp work or even laying the sucker, if the pro mucks up he has to right the wrong not you.
  10. been let down on my current 300ml of juice, he made me try some right weird test flavours, im just trying to settle with a strawberry ripe. so another burnt coil again this morning second tote on the coolfire and it tore me up like i had my first ever ciggy, at the least to say i was angry .... i was fuming, 3 coils in three days . so of i trundled to the smok shop in norwich, great bunch of guys ...... had been looking at the online shop and see the wofoto sapor and the OBS crius plus both knocked down to £13 from £25. so i asked the chaps in store if i could buy them still at the online shop price. about 5 mins later confirmation came thorugh and i walked out of the store £21 pounds lighter than i walked in. it was either a bottle of juice and 5 coils for the isub, or a new tank and go without juice, but they done me very well, i came out with a new strawberry juice to try ANML -Carnage a usa sourced juice, and a brand new OBS Crius . About the OBS tank , its HUGE i dont mean size wise i mean juice capacity lol this beast holds around 5.5ml of juice, its a full RBA dual core jobbie, BUT comes with an added bonus, a silicone stopper so you can run a single coil setup, in the package you get the tank, the usual spare grub screws, a baby hex screwdriver, a spare silicate glass tank sheath , some japanese cotton and TWO yes TWO pre wound captons. of course you will be building/buying your own capton coils but thats later down the line. SO build deck is 18mm , with a top side fill juice port, no need to take the cap off, just lift the top section and a little juice port opens up, .... build deck is nice a fixed cotton reatiner ring around the outer edge so you can just tuck your cotton tails in and be done. i inserted the silicone stopper and set up a single clapton build testing on the ohm meter we come out at 0.67 ohms on a single 6 wind clapton thats supplyed ( you get two coils free) , a little bit of jap cotton and i had the deck all built up..... Well a good few drops to prime the coil and cotton and i was ready, i closed of the juice flow ports, opened up the top air vent and the lower air vents fully and drizzled the american desires Grizzly into the tank , i still cant get over the amount of juice this thing holds. pushed the lid home to seal the juice tank off and opened up the juice flow control ports .... the lovely nectar was soon having little air bubbles popping out of the flow ports showing the tank was working and the coil was wicking.......... Started off at 20w and OMG WOW, flavour is killer it beats the isub g hands down, this is a flavour machine and with a healthy cloud to a few more puffs and i could feel the kick ... oh boy this is a isub killer for sure, just that single clapton was giving a lovely vape. and i am not kidding for the price its a no brainer tank , decided to bump upto 25w as it felt like i was being held back somewhat , im used to a 20w max on the isub g but at 25w the vapour and taste was about the same just less ramp up time, still not to good so i went balls to the wall and whacked in 30w ..... remember my box only hits 40w max so im runing around 3/4 capacity of the device .......... first vape and i was blown away, flavour wise around 20% more better than at the lower wattage , and clouds OMG clouds i was expecting a return signal from some american indians, i mean this tank is a cloud monster ...... will i go back to the isub g only if the world was ending or i ran out of clapton coils and it would only be a stand by, this OBS Crius is bang for buck well worth its knock down price of £13 . i usually vape on .47ohm stainless single wire wraps, but these claptons are flavour machines and wick like a water fall give awesome flavour and cloud production american indians would be jellous of lol. The one CON in my book is it eats juice but again if your on a high nic you need to drop down by half on strength as this machine will blow your socks off .
  11. My first Coil gunked up after a week , burnt cotton wick. but at £2 per coil i decided you must be able to rewick them somehow. trip to the chemist and i got 100 organic cotton balls, pulled the spit guard out of the coil head and found a black gunked up coil with coil spacing the size of the grand canyon. so i carefully pulled the wick from the Isub coil head, gave the coil a quick couple of bursts at 20w to help break up the rubbish and quenched it in cold water after each one, coil now looks band new and shiney. next i took the cotton ball and peeled it open to a long flatish bacon like rind, cut about a finger thickness in a strip about 60mm long and gave it a light roll in the hands. gave one end a good pinch and roll to make a point and threaded it through the juice holes and through the coil working it back and fourth to get it nice and settled. chopped the ends off and pancaked them back inside the coil head so it covered the juice holes... looks a darn sight better than the original one and the cotton wick looks a lot more looser and not as tight as the original to, so im in hope a better wicking action with my 80/20 VG-PG liquid. tried a strawberry milk shake juice and about 3 mins after vaping it ended up throwing up everywhere. OMG that stuff was nasty nothing like milkshake more like custard flavour. those desert type one just aint my thing, so i will stick to straight strawberry for now. Looking at a new tank, something i can rebuild and use either dual coil or single coil, got my eyes on the OBS cirus or the wofoto Sapor , got a batch of 300ml strawberry liquid being made up for me and im already down to to 0.1mg strength on nic and its been a week since i gave up the old cancer sticks
  12. well its not been more than a few weeks since the respray, i was bored, it was NOT RAINING, so i busted out the turtle wax hard shell original. slapped it on like thinly buttering a bit of toast , left it to white off, then i spent like what seems 8hrs trying to buff that sod. Man im nowhere near as fit as i was, did the tiny front pannel and i was absolutly shattered, totally out of breath full on arm ache. struggled to get the rest of the scoot done but its all kind of polished up and it looks nice to has that sweet shine something i was never able to get with the bodge job spray the last owner did . its shiney enough you can see the grass reflection in it .
  13. Flavourings : theres two types, oil base/ water base and theres a way to test them , a bowl of water and your flavouring, take a drop of the flavour and place it into the water if it balls up on surface its oil base and not ideal to vape, if it disapears its waterbased and ok to use for vaping. diacetyl gives the butter flavour in butterscotch but also that creamy flavour in icecreame and likes. so its more likely to be in those more deserty type liquids, once the Laws come into affect all companys MUST tell you whats in the product your buying, thats where the testing comes into. i paid 8.99 for a bottle of 30ml e-liquid at the vape shop ..... went to a local flavour warehouse and found they do kits, the one im looking at is £34 , that will make me between 250-300ml depending on strength. work that out thats around 8 bottles (250ml) or 9 and a bit bottles (300ml). now 8 bottles @ £8.99 - around 71 quid , lets be honest the kit is a no brainer those 8 bottles of 30ml you make cost you around £4.20p each . its like chemistry you do need to know about mixing stuff, a bit like anodizing and the likes, but there are calculators that will tell you exactly what you need, ie x amount in ml's of your nicotene base x amount in ml of PG X amount in ml of the VG x amount of flavouring in ml when all these measurements are done and added together you get your final mix in the strength you stated. ok from making the juice, can you vape it right away, YES but its not going to carry the flavour very much, fruity liquids you can get away with vaping from the start BUT leave those liquids for a week or three and they start to build and become more intense , like a whiskey the longer you leave it to mature the better the final product, this is the same for e-liquids. Steeping : is where the liquids are left in a nice dark area to mature, something like a liquirce will take longer to mature than say a straight strawberry flavour, usually a days to a month is the ideal steeping period. in this time one will remove the lid and blow across the top to replace the air in the container and give it a shake to it helps build that flavor body and mature that liquid Breathing : is where the bottle is left with the lid of to darken the liquid and allow any alcohol to evapourate , if theres alcohol in the liquid you usually have a chemical after taste when vaping it, so breathing allows this to evapourate and enhances your juice, you DO NOT breath for more than 12hrs at the max, most will breath for a couple hours - four hours then cap the bottle and give it a darn good shake . most will make a large batch and decant say a 30ml bottle to vape while they allow the rest to steep and breath over time so it matures to its full body flavour. e-liquid makers tend to bottle straight away and the steeping period is that time it takes to sit on the store shelf till you buy it.
  14. ah its a nurled spline nut yeah they can be a pain backing out, thing is they dont have much thread surface area as you would on a normal end spline on a crank / spline
  15. Twostrokes need warm ups , i did it with my chainsaws and do it with my scooters, just start it up and let it idle for a couple mins, get some heat into that cylinder and piston. what you have to remeber is your pistion is not round its more an egg shape due to the differing thicknesses in metal, so it needs a little time to get heated up and expend to fully seal the rings and seat them the best to the cyclinder wall. after warm up start to knock the choke off a little if it bogs slide the choke back on a little, its like feeding a baby you gotta intice them to take same goes with twosmokers. if you come from a stock pipe ie the boxy tpye thing and your now running a full tuned expansion pipe your tuning is off , the carb needs to be retuned to the motor, on my scooter that means a re-jet so i can get more fuel in with the air so i can take advantage of that tuned pipe. Spark plugs tell you how the engine is running, in twostroke tuning world like motorbikes we call it plug chopping, but your looking for that plug to be a certain colour ..... black = to rich on fuel and air you may also be running a little to rich on oil ratio, but 9-10 times its fuel richness. Gray - white = running to lean, you not getting the right amount of feul is so its running hot ... running hot will damage the cyclinder and pre wear the rings faster its how most blow up top ends running to lean. Chocolate brown ..... NO i dont mean eat a yorkie bar, i mean if you have the fuel air and oil just right the spark plug will be a nice chocolate brown thats the colour your aiming for very slightly rich but a good rich and its a clean burn to so you get that nice choco brownn / tea brown stain . Heres my scooter plug you can see the clolour is a nice rich brown tea stain look, that shows the fuel and air mix is just right and the motors happy. same goes for any twostroke a good brown plug means your just right on the settings and its gonna be a goodun.
  16. ah the monster nuts lol , the nuts so big your like OMG how designed these bloody things nuts lol hahahaha
  17. well finally got it nailed down ..... added some extra VG to the bottles , i also went and grabbed the last grizzly from the shop and a spare 30ml empty bottle. split the full bottle between the empty and topped both up with vg from boots. problem was the flavour was very weak by now and it just wasnt very nice as a all day vape. So today i popped to my local liquids warehouse and grabbed some TFA strawberry ripe concentrate , i added 3.2ml to each of the three 30ml bottles i had, two full ones are steeping and the one i am vaping as i type....... well blow me down its flavour heaven now, room has this lush strawberry smell and the taste is like eating fresh strawbs from the fields. the good thing is over time that flavour is just going to get better to. also worked out for £34 quid i can make 300ml of strawberry ripe i mean thats 8 x 30ml bottles and they cost me £4.20 thats a hell of a lot cheaper than the £9.99 for a 30ml bottle i was paying for and 300ml will last me months right now im rocking the prebuilt 0.5 ohm innokin coils @ 20w in a isub G tank , but im looking at grabbing an innokin RBA with a smaller tank size so i can cut down liquid amount. at the same time im trying to slowly cut down the nic content to so i hopefuly can kick the habit for good and feel a lot better chest wise and breathing.
  18. torque it down and add a bit of threadlock to help it keep in place
  19. because at first i did not know i had put it in only once i went through the whole scooter did i think maybe fuel was the problem and the finger test then the burn test confirmed what i had done.. and if you mix derv with petrol it still smells of petrol , its the finger test that gives it away, dipping finger into fuel you finger has that oily sheen to it where petrol would evap off as it does not have the oily feel to it. the pumps only had small writing on them denoting ultima unleaded - ultima diesel , the front of the pump handle was the same, the labeling on pump the same just small writing. and the derv pump never gave the derv warning when lifted, so mistake could be made ......... Also draw to the fact cars now have a smaller fuel opening so the derv pump nozzles wont fit, but motorbikes that has not come to us so a derv nozzle will fit our tanks just as a petrol nozzle will. cars changed the fuel opening to stop them being filled by accident, but bikers still have that risk.
  20. Heya big man . good to see you being strong and looking so well now to a true inspiration to others. so you got to swap the camera for a nice comfy seat and a microphone , i bet you felt out of depth for a while but enjoyed the hell out of being in the coms box , must say that view is pretty amazing you had there. its great to see you rebound back and also congrats on finding your soul mate to , all the best to you and upcoming mrs garry
  21. needs to look good when i come to maybe resell it on, leaving it with orange peel paint just makes it look like a rush job to cover problems. rather it looking lovely and shiney that way a buyer sees the bodywork in a good order for a 10yr+ scoot and maybe then decides to buy it.
  22. Aye but its not good enough, im normaly bang on with spraying but those two rear panels gave me the most trouble i was laying on thin as i could to with a good spray distance yet still came out with heavy peel, its gotta be sanded back and re-done, or wetsanded back and hard polished out. im just glad i didnt 2k clear it. been two months without money or benefits, tried to get onto universal credit and they turned down my claim ( not fit to work ), now have to block up the courts and appeal to them, good news i hope is that they will backdate my esa to when they first stopped it, so that could be around £600-800 or more in backpay they should have paid me in the first case. im still without benefits at this current time so all work has had to stop cant even afford a pack of 2000 grit wet n dry and i only have a full tank of petrol to my name now. if i get backdated, im looking to replace the old scoot with something less prone to breaking down, looking at a copy of the little honda dax 50cc or a small 50cc cub passport copy, with the backdate and the sale of pedro i should have enough to get a brand new bike and have some pennys in the bank for any extra needed like insurance due to bike swap . if not im going to look for a original honda cub 50cc and just do a restroration as i ride type thing. being fourstroke im gonna be a lot better of MPG wise and not needing to buy 12 quid bottles of mixing oil every few weeks. if you look back in this thread to when i firts got pedro and its pictures you can see the change the paint spray has done its 100% a lot cleaner looking.
  23. sorted it i bunged in some extra VG to weaken the nic level. drained out half the 30ml bottle and added VG till i had 3/4 of it filled, gave it a shake refilled my tank with the new mix and i can inhale without coughing at all. i think its the PG and nic strength that was causing me all the problems, also found the headaches have gone to so maybe i had a little reaction to the nic/pg levels
  24. yes getting used to it but still getting that cough . been researching and it could be down to coil and burning, some inhales are smooth and not so bad, like you want to cough but its boarderline, then the next one its like a woody off taste and a full on mule kick in the back of the mouth. some others have mentioned in youtube vids the stock coils a poorly made and the wick is to tight , they are pulling the wicks out and putting new ones in. maybe its something i should do see if it helps. had one ciggy since i started using it and last night got to 1/4 left in my tank so i topped it up and went to bed. this morning it seemed a bit better first three puffs no cough, fourth puff was a nasty woody taste and boy it kicked the throat, that woody taste is every so often. i ramped upto 20w and opened the airlfow to half and will try that setting for the day. tomorrow i will pop upto the vape shop and get a new coil or maybe something i can rebuild/rewick a bit easyer .
  25. First wash of the scooter since it had a re-spray , i got some more work to do, have the ol orange peel came up in the base colour coat, so have not clear coated . all rattlecan sprayed and open air flashed and baked , got a good healthy gloss to it not bad for a outside spry job and 100x better than the previous owners aweful try . yep had to knife off the decals due to them being clearcoated over and then rattle can sprayed over. spent a day or so wetsanding with 1500 grit wet n dry paper but that glossyness just shows well
