I asked the same question about my Thunder Tiger Tomahawk ST to convert to BX, I was told it wasn't worth it, it would cost too much. Unless I could get a cheap roller.

I quite like the look of a Cannondale Bad Boy for commuting, I just don't have the money for it. It has a lefty fork which I think look tasty.

May not even need the microcontroller, I guess a Y connector connecting a servo and ESC to the RX channel for throttle. If the throttle goes forward then a standard brake linkage for a nitro car would be fine, the servo would move, pretending to increase throttle and the brakes would only work in reverse.

Nitro cars have brakes anyway, I guess in a conversion you leave the brake equipment in there, then keep the servo. Connect the brake servo and the esc to some sort of microcontroller so that it knows to use brake in reverse and the ESC for forwards.

It depends what you've already been using, I think if you change fuel you have to retune your engine?

I did some running in in my student house... Till the living room got foggy. My housemates didn't mind as we were all engineers and they were all fascinated

Optifuel have a date sticker on the bottle, I think they give it around a year or two.

I got similar mardave mini chassis about 4 years ago with two (decent) batteries for less than 20 posted. Wasn't vintage though.

I think it's a beautiful car anyway, maybe would look nice if the wing colour matched the cage. Maybe slap some stickers on there.

I did the same, best part of two litres of nitro went out of date, tried lighting it on the floor but it burned real slowly, the date on the bottle was well gone too. Guys on here recommended getting new nitro, and replacing all the pipes and rinsing stuff out with fresh nitro. Have the pipes, waiting to get to the LHS for nitro. Is there a date on the bottle? -

Hi team I'm new! Who else ownes a "sprint 2flux"

I have a Sprint with an ERZun setup in it, so it's Brushless but not flux. Still need a couple of parts before I'm happy with it, and I'm still not sure what shell to go for (I like to see chassis!) I just did the cutaway mod for the rear bulkhead to reduce friction on the belt, if you've heard of it?
