Took delivery of a Losi 8ight EU this morning so its buy a brushless conversion kit and get it running

i go up regular 90% of time with my lad and his crosser but sometimes take the Apache with me took it 2 weeks ago and emptied the shock oil so that cut that short but other than that once weather picks up again ill be back up there

Only ever had a shock bottom break lol everything else has stood up to a right good bashing

first outing with the Apache C1 in about 8 months and just didn't get that feeling i used to

As we say though we don't keep fish and coral we keep water and if the water is happy then so will everything else be

Its more than just salt when keeping coral when keeping coral it starts with the science side with calcium, magnesium, Alkalinity, strontium, copper, iron, sodium, iodine and blah blah blah haha all have to be kept at a certain level and stable for anything to grow. these days water changes can be a little more stretched out and longest have gone is 6 months it does take a while to clean and change water and maybe a day to just fill some barrels with reverse osmosis water from my RO machine under the sink but its all part of the fun no don't have a moon lamp AKA blues at night as everything needs some time of total darkness to rest and so on but i do have lights simulate rising sun and sunset along with thunder storms and wave makers that can simulate hurricane style swells once the thunder storm starts all thanks to new tech that allows total control from your phone

I Binned a crap load of blackout parts a couple of weeks back along with a chassis

Yeah i find myself sat in front of it for hours just watching the fish swim around and the critters cleaning up along with the coral just swaying back and forward in the flow

Thing as these days there so much equipment you can buy that polish the water to make it look like fish are swimming on thin air its unbelievable. even without the equipment there so much stuff on the market now as in additives that help keep water clean is amazing compared to a few year ago. 2 years ago it was a 4-6 week wait for a cycle now its done in a day

Lol just busy lads and with this crap weather not really been out with the RC. Well that and the fact the police took my dog and had to go court to get him back with him being added to the banned breed register all has been well. should be back with RC as soon as the weather picks up just in middle of converting the C1 to a SC all i need now is the front bumper, shell and body posts and an SC8 roll cage to make it stand out

Ok not updated this in a while but this tank has now gone and a new one in its place Meet my Red Sea Reefer 425XL ( 420L ) reef tank. And a video. So now you all know why RC has taken a back seat for now even tho i still have my Apache c1
