Depends entirely on the buyer, they may not see value in the new shocks and other stuff, FLM can be a bit hit and miss on quality, some is good, some not so good, so that may also factor into someones decision.

Id expect my 3/4 week old K&N DBXL to get £400 all in with engine etc

  4. I've got 0.6 watt resistor from maplin hope it's fine
  5. Does it really matter if the resistor is 1watt or 2 watt? I've found resistors in maplin but some are 2w some are 1w with the same value e.g. 68ohm 2watt & 68ohm 1watt cheers mate
  6. What's the resistor spec of the antispark fella? I need to make one too cheers
  7. I'm not sure on how many teeth is the spektrum one, that's why I'm mainly asking..
  8. Well my build is almost done, I've serviced the diffs, cleaned the chassis (abit of scrubbing), replaced pins/gaskets/drivecups etc. Electrics done. Everything needs to go back on to the plate (chassis) now I'll get a few pictures soon. waitig for funds and then I shall proceed to purchase the spektrum S9020. Can anyone suggest a good servo horn for this servo?
  9. Yeah get me photo fella and hold it for me thanks
  10. Yeah I'm going for oils, done one diff already with 60K oil.
  11. Right, the next stage is my diffs need rebuild. niw I've got 30K, 60K and 100k, bottle of diff oils of Team Associated's. I also have a tub of Ansmann red grease. Now because I'm doing brushless, would I have to use diff oil or can I just stick to red grease? In a brushless world does power transfer ratio matter? I've got 3 diffs to re-build
  12. Can anyone tell what the warranty is like with Spektrum servos as I plan to get one of their high-end spec'ed servo...

Not the most reliable servo going by the amount of failures I've heard of, I would get a Hitec 845 instead

spot on. I sent my servo back without a receipt and servo was replaced. look here -

Would it be cheaper to import from Europe for cheaper or is it not worth the hassle and just go find a UK stockist for the 9020s?

  13. Ok, I need another advice, can't decided on what servo to go for the steering!! Rhino or hitec or spektrum (top end one), I've eliminated Savox as there not up to standards in the 5th class scale.
  14. Yes your right mate, I think too much tea caused a stir in my brain I'll solder series connection, should be simple
  15. My parts have arrived, wires connectors etc i soldered the XT150 on the 8awg cable which was spot on but then I encountered a problem, it seems that the wires I have is tooo thick to be made into a Y shape parallel cable. Now, I can use thinner cables to create a Y connection but then this means there might be a possiblility of the wires heating up and melting due to not being able to handle the high current of 200+ amps. Is there a trick for thicker cables to be made into Y layout... cheers
  16. I don't spray it on electrics etc, only metal, been using it for donkeys years me and hobby friends. I'm happy with wd40
  17. Why would wd40 be bad idea? it's the ideal stuff for rustfree metal parts on you're RC!
  18. No horns mate, there's cheap horns online if you want
