Hey folks, I recently picked up the flux version of the firestorm dam quick little thing isn't it, I need to go a little easier on the throttle seems very easy to get it skyward lol, was curious if it's possible to fix other body shells on it had a quick look and does not seem to be much listed for them so just wondered if it was possible to mod something else to fit? One thong I need to do is get a better steering servo stock one seems a little useless I think my Baja has a smaller turning circle :-p

Im sure this questions been asked a 100 times before but i've been looking to get something to bash about with when i can't run my baja, i've got plenty of space to run on grass/gravel and was thinking of a firestorm as they seem popular and a spares look easy to get hold off but i'm curious if its worth going straight for the flux version or just grabbing the brushed version and upgrading later?

I've got a XR10 Roller doing nowt if you fancy a trade or something, it's hardly used i only bought it for the esc and batteries it came with

Used them a bunch for my Baja parts always been alright to deal with and a decent dispatch time too, the one thing i ordered that got busted in the post they sorted quick too which was nice

Funny enough i been trying to find out who owns the land as it's only a 10 min drive from me, so i could see about getting on there as its not far from me, not had much luck so far think ive now got the address of the farmers who i ahve been told owns the land so im gonna drop him a note to see if its possible to get on there as theres a ton of scope for stuff, theres the old stock car track, the large mounded area between the main runway and the prison, and the two runways themselves, its easy enough to get on there but id rather get permission and save pissing off anyone and ruining it for others.

Or you could be flash and get the new losi 1/5 4wd truck!

Hey y'all I have a Stock HPI Blitz for sale runs really well as it's about 6 months old there are a few little scuffs on the underside and on the shell but theres no splits or cracks on the car or the shell, comes with all the tools and spares that were in the box also a brand new spare motor and the stock controller or if you want i have a acoms stick jobbie which i can put in too as its no use to me, only selling it as i never really use it and i need the space lol Looking for

Are you looking for a crawler specifically ?? Also are you looking for it to be RTR, have you had a look at the Axial XR10 i've had a play with one and there pretty decent, or if you fancy a lot of fun try a Axial scx10 i've recently got one and they are pretty capable trucks amazed me what they could do when i first took it out and theres whole another world when it comes to building them to scale.

Hey folk's i'm gonna order myself a SCX-10 kit this week, got my self a spare set of radio gear, but due to my complete lack of knowledge on the ESC and electric motors ( not used anything for 10+ years always been nitro and now petrol) i don't really have much idea of what to go for other than a ESC with drag brakes, and from the googling i think a 35t motor seems a good balance of torque/speed, what confuses me the most is the compatibility of everything will X work with Y, knowing my luck i'll end up with a motor, esc, battery that all have different connections lol, id rather not spend a fortune on a esc/motor as i only want this for a bit of fun, so im looking for someone to give me some sound advice, id be very grateful and offer my first born as thanks or a few beers ;-)

Ah i did wonder about the term "Drag brakes" ta for clearing that up, i reckon i'll probably go for the kit always nice to know how it all goes together, So that leaves me the ESC, Motor, Servo and a battery to get if i got it right oh and some paint for the shell, So i was thinking of getting this lot SCX10 Kit ESC Motor no clue about these just took a guess lol Servo Or would a higher end model be better? Not sure on what battery i assume bigger is better to some degree? lol

Been poking about looking for another rc to get hold of got a budgjet of about 300 for this truck, so i stumbled across a few vids on youtube of scale Rc's so been doing a little reading up and stuff and i fancy a Axial SCX10 and i loved the idea of making a scale body on a capable truck just not sure which to get the RTR or kit etc, i assume the kit version is a little better specced over the RTR? also if i did go down the kit route what ESC and motor would i need as i have very little clue about leccy gubbins, also the radio gear, would the stock hpi 2.4 ghz stuff i replaced in my Baja be usable or would i need summin else?. Or should i be looking at another kit or truck to get ? thanks for taking the time to read my daft questions Thanks Karl

Hey y'all, So i am after a little advice, been looking at getting a second truck thats a little quieter than my Baja 5B, been looking at the Savage flux it seems stupidly quick and looks like a right giggle to drive but i've not played with an electric rc for years So i have a few questions! 1. Roughly whats the set up cost to get me going? 2. What are the run times like? 3. Are spares easy to get ? 4. Whats their durability like? as i i tend to bash pretty hard as my pile of spares invoices for my Baja shows lol 6. Are there Any must have upgrades to do before running? 7. Have HPI learned to put oil in diffs yet ? Also while having a quick google i saw this Conversion Kit and wondered if anyone was running it like this? if so hows it compare speed wise to the stock truck handling etc? i like the idea of a project like that and it's something a little different Thats about it, Thank you very much for taking the time to read my daft questions and i look forward to any help or advice given Thanks Karl

After a spot of bother at the weekend, im in need of a pair of thease and i cant seem to find them on there own only as part of a set which is annoying so if anyone could help id be very gratefull

Hey folks, tyvm for all your replies and advice, shocked me really, nothing like any of the photography forums i use your all helpful and stuff , So i've had a look at a few more cars but i have decided to get the Losi 810 everyone seems to speak pretty highly of it on here and via what i've found from googling, Ordered my glow starter after run oil, glow plugs and associated gubbins, so i shall sort myself some tools out i doubt anything i have from work will be small enough and order the car this week! So thanks again for all your help and expect many more daft questions and a ton of photos! Karl
