i guess castle had to come with a statement. too many cars burnt up and a few people reporting burns frm esc going up. i brought the xlx2 specifically for a 1/8 buggy to run 4s. i can run this D wind 2900kv motor on mmm mm2 and xlx with no problems. i doubt a firmware update will fix the issues castle speak of. And, surely the beta testers used d wind motors above 2000kv. i think ima send the xlx2 back to castle .

since the event is almost here again. i post my best 4s run.

Im building a 4s hyper 7 speed run buggy. Ive put a 39t 8mm arrma gear . As you see, it just slots on.

Hi guys. Been a good few years since ive made any posts on here. I used to run petrol cars, for speed mostly but then quit the hobby for a while. I got between 70 and 82mph in my 3 petrol cars Ive been into rc about 5 months. I have a typhon v4 i use for speedruns. Just finished building it. Im.running mm2 esc and sss 4092 2140kv motor. I will be attending rossa speed event next year. The speedrunning thing has absolutely exploded since i was last in the rc game. Here is a pic of my typhons, one being stretched . Thanks

Hi. Ive come back to the hobby about 5 months ago. 5 years away from rc. I used to be into 1/5 petrols but stopped using them. I started to grow a consious about the noise lol. Anyway, bought my lad a traxxas rustler about 5 months ago and that got me wanting an electric car. So i converted my hyper7 into a brushless buggy using castle esc and motor. Just as i finished the conversion, i bought a typhon v4 roller and havent used the h7 since. I love the typhon. Quick diffs all around etc. Right now, in the 1/8 buggys i think the typhon mayne has largest amount hop ups out there.

Im sure you will be happy with any of the choices. i remember when my hyper 7 mac .28 did a 100 meter runner into a curb.,it cost me 15 quid to fix, chassis was a tenna and a shock part ,great value.imagine if 1/5 was this cheap;0 now i wouldnt mind converting to electric for my son.

yes ive spoken to maxit about his,doubles up as a skid plate but i see guys are mostly using the one you have.looks to work well even in the baja with alx 78cc motor and 30/44 gears. what gears you using and what carb comes with this monster motor? thankyou

wow im sure the guys were running low 4 secs @ 70 mph in the fg bajas years ago unless that wasnt the 330. i loved the competition when drag racing when i was active in the rc scene ,shame we dont have something like floyd bennet event here . tAlso theres been plenty times when we have chosen to drag race over bashing.depends what floats your boat.

very nice! The guys running these big engines have alot of fun now there are various wheelie bars being sold. its been along time but il be back out using mine this summer just need to get myself a wheeliebar. What Carb is that , GSR 23/25 VENTURI? btw my baja weighs in around 17kg..

sorry so late getting back to the thread. I've seen these wheelybars before but think there will be too much flex in it on my baja plus want it to stick out further for stability. I want one made out of steel tubing like a roofchopper/proctor type cage . Thanks anyway pal.

Hi guys, just wondering if anybody are making wheelybars for the baja,seems to be nothing on the market except cc racing version. I've seen a guy selling them in the us but with postage and import costs It would be expensive.i could get a whole cage made here in the uk cheaper. Thanks

the fg marder is a nice piece of kit. very easy to use and maintain. size of engibe depends on bore and stroke, so will differ if using using stock,+1mm or +2mm. check clutch side of head.

sell it and buy exactly what you want with the cash, unless that swap list is what you want. they do sell pretty easy.

exiting package! having no grip is protecting the drivetrain and tyres.are there strong aftermarket parts available for the drivetrain?

what are the stock losi gears gaz? a few of the bigger engines need gearing up as they dont rev as high as a stock motor but that obr hits sone high rpms! goes very well bud. what are your thoughts on the widow maker now you have a couple hours fuel through it and how long a tank last? taz

great price! if I ever seen one for that price id wip it up in a second, even if I had 10 petrol cars already. yh having 4 petrol cars too, I will always favour one while the rest collect dust lol

new alloy th servo arm and pivot, mammoth fg offroad wheels (extension on inside) and litre of quality castrol a747 oil. ready for better weather!
