  1. I've got an FTX Zorro brushless, with is the SCT stablemate of your Carnage. (I think). On the first bit, i remember this thread from a while back: On the second, i got the metal spur and pinion set for the truck, and it sounds like a bag of spanners! That said, i've not managed to break that element of the drive train. The only bit i would say is if you're running 3s, make sure the diffs front and rear are shimmed correctly. I've managed to chew up a couple on 2s due to being in a rush!
  2. Would also swap for an SCT of some sort- the local club runs short courses. Locally, preferably!
  3. Tamiya M-08 chassis. Had my eye on the MX-5 shell. It's my first onroad RC (and tamiya kit) and i made a few mistakes, but apart from sanding down the rough edges of the shell i'm pretty pleased!
  4. Traxxas rustler? I think the XL5 can be had sub £200 There's divided opinions on traxxas, but i've had a rustler, and i tell you what, you've got a world of upgrades about. The design is as old as the hills mind, but it'll do you grass, and is RTR out of the box.
  5. Gonna try and get out to the local track if life ever returns to normal Gather there's an on road beginners class centered around the tamiya chassis. So yeah! TT02/TT01/M03/M05 wanted!
  6. Hey dude, From looking at modelsport, i think this is the spur gear you're running on your Bugsta. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/ftx-65t-spur-gear-vantage-carnage-banzai-hooligan-bugsta/rc-car-products/365809 The distributor suggests that this is a 0.6 mod spur. The only place i can find 5mm shaft 0.6 mod pinions is hobbyking, but feel free to second guess me It's an odd combo! As an aside, that brushless combo you mentioned, is it this one? https://www.modelsport.co.uk/hobbywing-ezrun-combo-max10-3652sl-4000kv-brushless-motor/rc-car-products/420923 I think that's got a smaller shaft, it's the SCT motors that tend to have 5mm shafts (or 1/8th gear). Cheers!

£95 for the buggys, plus economy postage! I'm moving house, and need to declutter.
  10. As per title! Looking for a mini Erevo in an effort to have something to take the the park, that doesn't require an estate for peripherals. Edited: Happy also to grab a stampede. Ultimately, something smallish that i can take to the park. Downsizing, i think it's called. Cheers!
  11. I've got one of these sitting in the garage, always loved the giant monster truck thing. Had roughly the same issues as yourself. two things i found helped. Engine heater! Turned over easier, fired sooner, idled alright. 25% nitro. It's a big old engine, and i remember mucking about with 16% and having no love at all. It fires better on 25! Just my two penneths! Persist with it though, cos once they're roaring around the park, they look fantastic. Don't corner, mind.
