Just got home and the wheels and tyres are here, 3mm offset should fill out the arches 😎 just need the rain to do one now .

It’s 190mm shell but it does look like the arches have swallowed the wheels doesn’t it 😁 I ordered some 3mm offset wheels that should be here in the morning with a bit of luck.

I had planned on fitting an Audi Quattro body to the LC but it was a little narrow on the front end to go over the inner fender’s. New plan and new Celica GT4 body

Had to buy another new body for the PTG2, the Audi shell didn’t fit over the inner fenders 😢

I’m real fussy buying used stuff it either has to be like new or dirt cheap. Found a vid on the HPI with the guy maxing out the ride height, around the 7min mark . With a bit of modding I reckon it would be easy-ish to get a fair bit more travel out of it .

I’ve never owned one mate but I am thinking of picking one up, getting a bit sick of searching eBay for something interesting 😁 Its a fairly modern chassis so should be ideal for making a rally car out of , could possibly need slightly longer shocks? The sealed chassis is a nice touch, I like that idea.

The HPI RS4 creator edition’s are back in stock! Only downside is I don’t think it can be done under budget unless you’ve got a few bits and pieces to use.

Thanks a lot mate 👍🏻 I think it needs some wider hex’s to bring the wheels right up to the arches just to finish it off, I’ll see what’s in my spares tomorrow

Finished 😎, there’s a few bleeds and imperfections but overall it looks pretty decent I reckon.
