I just ordered a whyte Dorset, can't wait to ride it. Got a cheap Road bike off of eBay on Thurs and was hooked after one 20 mile ride, why I've never tried one before is beyond me.. I've spent years riding bmx/mtb etc. And always imagined that road bikes were uncomfortable.. Should have tried it sooner..

1 more sleep til the strumpy splash and dash, can't wait now felling fit for purpose and nervous about riding in a crowd as I haven't done it for such a long time but the weather is looking good so it should be a great experience..

I'm going to add a caveat to that statement because I do believe they are well worth the money, but, and it's a tiny but, beware of using them in cold weather as they can become brittle and be snapped or shattered.. That said when I sent photos of the ones I broke to the guys at tbr they replaced them without problem.. For free as per policy..

I only ever owned one, it was a killer v back in the 90s, seriously stiff frame..

Feeling the pain today, thighs and groin ache.. Rest day tomorrow for sure, still managed 40 mins of cycling and 15 of elliptical but the legs are jelly now..

it was better than I expected to be fair, we did 30 minutes for starters so that's 15 mins of jogging and 15 mins of recovery (for the mathematically challenged) definitely more effort than 20 solid minutes on a cross trainer but well worth doing and we both agreed that it wasn't too taxing..

Starting interval training tonight with a colleague, 1 min jog 1 min walk, never run anywhere so it's gonna be an eye opener I'm sure..

I love the boardman frames, same kind if manufacturing ethic as Cannondale used to have before they stopped being boutique..

As promised here is my work/pub/shops/cruising rig.. 2009 Norco havoc, bought this of a guy on eBay for 200 a few weeks back, spent 250 getting it back to near mint and there you have it..

Cheers it's not a race tho just a fun ride. 5k course do as many laps as you like.. I'll see if I can get the wife to take some pics..

This my am rig, it's a 2008 haro shift, pretty heavily upgraded though so all that's left of the original bike is the frame which I couldn't bare to part with because it rides so well.. Rock shox rc32 up front, monarch rear Nukeproof rims on ringle hubs and conti mountain king 2 rubber Sram x5 all round Truvativ hussefelt cranks with aerozine rings and fsa bashguard Crank brothers egg beaters Hayes stroker carbon brakes with floating rotors Fsa carbon bars.. Crank brothers kronolog dropper with a wtb volt perch on it.. Oh and a spank oozy stem and blackspire stinger.. I'll throw up a picture of my Norco runaround when I get five minutes..

Righto chaps, I'm having an indefinite holiday from Rc so I've got a couple of bits to get shot of.. No splits just cheapish gear looking for a home oh and no fees.. Thirdly is a brand new beach buggy shell for the Savage xs, painted with my own fair hands and comes with modded rear body posts so it's ready to mount.. 25 posted Next is five new aerials for orange rx ground 3 channel receivers, one is opened 5 quid posted for all 5.. Finally it's a job lot of pinions, all in excellent condition, 10 posted for the lot, the the large stuff is mod not sure what the 10th scale ones are..
