  1. For sale is a brand new in the box sealed in distribution box too Arrma senton BLX v3 3S in blue https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/arrma-senton-v3-3s-blx-red-1331729 I won this in an online raffle on Facebook but I have too many cars and am happy with my current collection Since it arrived its been sat in the kitchen as I don't want to open it and break the seals so it's completely untouched I'm asking £330 which is the cheapest on the Internet that I can find £300 collected or £330 posted Collection from Ashton Preston Lancashire or can post Im also open to swaps for a 1/5th off road car or a hpi savage 5t 5b alza conversion Any questions please ask
  2. Took the savage xs for a spin with its new 10, 000mah 120c 7.6v battery Other one is on back order from modelsport Forgot how much it shifts, standing back flips, couldn't keep the front end down even doing speed runs on the grass Had so much fun, my old battery's were definitely past their sell by date 😂😂 It suspected chewed the gearbox so went back home got my other xs off the shelf and went back to the park to finish off the battery 👍😁
  3. It's a shame as I usually go to my local whsmith to buy a copy 😭
  4. Haha well I did have a full man cave in the spare room until the baby came along and it got turned into a nursery 😭 So this is the compromise with a few models put and the rest in storage Need to raise the car shelf so the draws can fit underneath better as only recently got bigger stacker draws to keep things tidy 💪
  5. When I had a spare hour I went through my stacker draw of Hpi savage xs parts and decided to sort them out putting them into divider boxes Think I have enough spares to keep my collection of xs going for a while seeing as I only have 2 hands and 4 various xs 😂(one not pictured)
  6. Have been tinkering with a few vehicles when the Mrs and baby are asleep 😴 which isn't very often 😂 First off I pulled my hpi savage xl out of its storage box and started to put it back together Bought some aftermarket parts years back and decided to finally fit them Integy arms and some shiny diff cups with a good scrub and re grease 💪 Need to pull the front end off next and strip the front diff down And also fit the original manual disc brake mechanism so it actually slows down as I don't have direct drive in the gearbox Re make the brushless motor mount and then should be ready to go again
  7. Love the updates been following for a while The wheels looks great, imagine them built in alloy 😂 Nice idea switching to the maxx shocks not seen that done before Are thos extended arms or just normal size? What are you going to do with your irc shocks you took off? 🤔🧐 Been contemplating upgrading my xl for a long time
  8. Managed to crash my hpi savage xs into to my leg mid air at full chat yesterday

Resulting in a boot and a appointment with the fracture clinic 😂😂

Oh dear. Hope it's nothing too serious, ...My Mrs is still recovering after a minor slip/fall in May whilst out walking broke both bones in her ankle.
She was in a boot at first but then after her fracture clinic appointment they said it was more serious so she had to have surgery with metal plates & screws put in her ankle. Best of luck that doesn't happen to you.

Cheers guys, luckily I don't think it's too bad

I have broken this leg previously so it swelled quite alot

Hoping it's just soft tissue damage and I can get back to work

Currently on an rc ban from the Mrs 😂😂

  11. We had a fun night at my local rc club Abit of caravan racing with my tamiya truck 🚚😁
  12. Finally got around to painting my hpi savage xs shell for my shell queen 👌 Had a play about with mixing paints at the back of the shell Came out quite good in my opinion
  13. After abit of fettling I used the hpi foam spacers pack that I had in the spares box and managed to get rid of most of the slop They don't tend to last forever as they deteriorate over time and squish but should be alright for the time being as its only on the shelf queen I dug out some old tyres just to see the width difference and it is quite noticable, will be Interesting to see the handling. Will be getting some nice wheels and tyres at some point to make it look more normal rather than semi slicks 😂 On my main basher xs I installed a t bone racing wheelie bar Its mounted ontop of the original skid plate using the original screws. How ever I found the longer screws didn't quite catch so I put them in as normal underneath and then drilled 2 holes to put some self tappers in whilst using the other 2 shorter original mounting screws too Doesn't look the prettiest but Its a basher and if it works then hey ho 👍 Mounted the shell on the shelf queen as well ready for paint Need to fit the traxxas turn buckles to give the shelf queen some steering Got the rod and ends just need time to modify them. I think my basher shell has seen better days after many attempts at fixing it 😂😂 My xs fleet is all rolling now 😁😁
  14. Fitted the axle extenders to my shelf queen Had to drill the axle out to fit the thicker pins, went through 3 drill bits as they must be hardened axles There is alot side to side play so need to shim them out abit What size shims did other people use who have these extenders?
  15. Drilled the axles on the savage xs to fit my extender set There is alot of play so need to shim them up abit It's only on my shelf queen so won't be put through too much stress as they are ebay specials 😂
  16. I finally mounted my new shell for my tt01 Also reamed body mount holes for my savage xs shell Got window masked for both ready for painting but it was 4 season weather on Sunday 😂😂
  17. Took the tt01e out for a shake down after a rebuild It's running a 5.5t motor with a sc8 esc The running gear got that hot it melted the tunnels where the bearings sit and caused the gears to not mesh 🤣🤣 Rebuilt the Diffs with some car brake grease and this thing runs sweet as now 😁😁 Also took the hpi savage xs for a little blast, Was great fun but need to attach the wheelie bar as it spent more time on its roof mid speed run 🤣🤣
  18. I just recently bought a SS off ebay Haven't had chance to give it a run yet I do like the options parts that they included with it
  19. Like storm said but don't use too thick tubing as they will bind otherwise I did it on mine buy had to make it thinner Hpi have them sponge pads from factory but they wear over time so rubber would be a better option
  20. So my axle extenders came in the post but the pins are slightly thicker so will need to drill out the axles Anybody else done this? or did you use the original pins which are quite thin really
