  1. Have you tried pre-heating your engine first, as I used to have this problem a lot when starting from cold.
  2. I always get Racer or Race Car
  3. Anytime mate, I'll PM you my mobile. What sort of rc are you using?

    How do you know Spriggan?

  4. Put a hairdryer on it and heat it up to about 180, then try and start it. Your engine has pinch
  5. I live in Redruth, I go out with my mates to Gwithian dunes or St Day/ Chacewater around the mine workings. Or we race at Cornwall MRC track at Perrenporth or track days down at KORT.

  6. DE Racing do them, but you have to import them from the states. I normally order 5 at a time in but don't have spares as they get snapped up quickly.
  7. You could do with getting it dirty.
  8. Hi mate, Where in Cornwall do you live and where are your bashing spots?

  9. I always buy mine from the states so check ebay in the US. They sometimes come up on ebay under 'losi 8ight spares' but few UK sellers stock them.
  10. The rear guard covers the rear end quite well and the front has a bumper with it so it wraps over the front end. The rear guards come in a pack of 3.
  11. You could buy front & rear DE Racing chassis guards, they should stop you wearing out your chassis. Maybe be a King Headz radio tray stiffener & rear metal diff inserts.
  12. I have one and yes they do work but not very well on engines that are .28 or less, I have mine on a .45 in a truckzilla I built last year. You have to run the engine rich, the downside is it drinks a savage fuel tank in 3mins, BUT it does beat my EK4 on acceleration.
  13. I've never found a 40T spur, I run a 45t spur & 17t pinion and 4s on mine and it wheelies on launch. I also found putting the losi motor cooling fins on the motor cools it considerable.
  14. Pictures would be handy including what goes with each nitro, I'm sure most could price them by looking at them then?
  15. I use a product called Muk-off, designed for motorbikes, Just spray over all moving parts not electrics and air line it off or wait 20 mins and it evaporates. It also lubes everything in the process. Costs about
  16. I always order parts from the US as England has become too expensive for parts now as long as I keep each order under $180, I pay no import duties
  17. I had the CC brushless kit on my Losi 8E at christmas and the lipos kept falling out, Bag of wa*k if you ask me, 3 days later I flogged the kit for a proper Losi 8 conversion kit. Check Losi.com or the Losi forum for your measurements mate.
  18. You could get DE Racing guards, front & rear. Should stop you scratching and wearing down your chassis. A quick release engine mount, King headz do one. Steel diff rear inserts. King Headz radio tray stiffner, not essential but does help steering and stops the radio tray twisting under load. A Proline Bulldog shell, sounds funny but since I've had one, the engine cools quicker and the buggy seems to handle better than having the old shell
  19. Cheers guys for the fast replies, Though I'd rather order front & rear as it's best to replace both. I can't understand why the rear bearing is £28.99. But I need them, cheers again
  20. My Alpha S852 is leaking fuel through the front bearing, I'm looking for a supplier of ceramic bearings in the UK, but keep coming up with a company called Boca Bearings in the states in my search. Does anyone know of a UK supplier where I can get the bearings from? Cheers guys
  21. I heard that Modelsport & Avicraft sold spares, whether they still do. I can't say for sure.
  22. Integy mods are very brittle and will easily break, I've brought rx and battery covers for my losi 8 which are fine, Anything else made by Integy, I would steer clear of!! I'm sure other people will say different on here? I doubt you'll pay import duties as I'm ordering from the states every week, and as long as I keep it under $150, I'm fine. As for the hubs, that's quite cheap, I brought a set of 4 HB hubs fro my XL last year at £140. I wanted them so I paid it. If you want them that badly, then buy them It will cost you $69 = £42.50. Not bad for 2 bits of brittle metal that will break under stress
