  1. Thank you for suggestions! Too bad the postage to Slovakia is so high. It alone would cost like 15 GBP for that nice used quicrun. I will take a look at a noew one on ebay shipped from China. What is the difference between Quicrun 150 and Max 8? Is the Max 8 more reliable or it just offers more functions and options to be adjusted?
  2. Hi. I need a budget ESC for a savage based MT. It will run on 4s. I have been out of the hobby for 5 years, so I need some help. Are there any budget options ? Are the ESCs from Hobbyking good? Thanks!
  3. Hi, does anyone know what is the size of a stock brushless motor?
  4. Thanks guys! I really appreciate it! jony nitro - I will post here again should I need something hard-to-find UK-located in the future, but for now, I do not need anything else. The book is already on its way to evssv because he replied first.
  5. Hi, I would like to buy a book and it costs me an arm and a leg to get one. However, I managed to find the book I need at a very good price, but the problem is they do not post it overseas. Would anyone be so kind as to post it to Slovakia from the UK? I would buy the book, let it be delivered to your address, and pay the postage from the UK to Slovakia, but I need someone with the address located within the UK, who is willing to take it and post it to Slovakia. Thanks for your help!
  6. that one cell seems to have a slightly lower capacity than the rest. I would set the cut off higher
  7. The last resort is to glue the endbell to the can with a permanent threadlocker. The bearings are brand new. It just seems so IMPOSSIBLE and unimaginable that there are thousands of these motor and hundreds of them are fried and toasted beyond repair, but when someone needs a part, no one suddenly has them. Sucks to be me.....
  8. bump. Is there really no one with a fried mamba motor???
  9. Hi, I need this part beccause mine is damaged. A screw snapped right inside the thread, so there are only 2 screws mounting the rear plate ( or what it is called) to the motor. I dont want to run it in this state. I can not repair it because I dont have time, tools and skills, so I need your help. I think any 8th scale mamba motor has the same front and rear "end plates" ( sorry I dont know its exact name), so if you have a damaged mamba 2200 or 1800 or 2650 or 1600, I am interested in buying this part. Thanks for your help!
  10. I got banned from a small local RC forum for saying out loud the old admins and moderators were not as evil as the new admin thought

  13. maybe a dumb suggestion, but if I had a heavy big truck powered by a relatively small motor, the first thing I would do, would be a wheel/tire combo change. I would try to reduce the rotational mass by replacing the stock tires for something lighter and even smaller. That will bring the temps down and allow you to push the 1717 harder. Just my 2 cents
