  1. if it was the other way rond they would have fitted , but sods law ehh
  2. you can try a new plug but i would check that needle 1st fore you play about with more settings were all the needle screws set back to factory settings ?
  3. im wondering if the needles worn/broken or bent , if you have it screwed all way in and still running rich then i would think its something to do with the needle
  4. is it new or did you get a 2nd hand 1 ? when you say it cut out did it run for a few secs then stop ? i think your idle speed is to low when you say your leaning it what way are you turning the screw ? have you taken the needle out ? is it intact ?
  5. good luck with it mate looks like youve got your work cut out tho
  6. cool mate gonna give it a try but i went for the extra firm springs see how those do
  7. if the screws tight then it wont harm it being in there and chances are it will have fallen out by time he does need to undo/tighten screw
  8. adjust the idle screw so it doesnt cut out whilst brakingits not the linkages at fault
  9. how are you priming the engine ?
  10. its near muirhouse in edinburgh right on the coast , if you use google earth follow coast past cramond and youl see the grass areas , its behind muirhouse golf club
  11. had a play with the trophy and sledgy tonight at silverknowes was good nice and grassy on a slope lol found couple of places there to play with em , was a good evening
  12. check there isnt a pice of stone/gravel caught between the fly wheel and chassis , ive had that on ocaision and thought id seiezed the engine
  13. can you grip the head with pliers or mini vice grips ?
  14. could you have overtightened the pull start mounting screws ? try backing them off slightly see if that helps , just remember to re thread lock em
  15. thx for those links mate , i know it may not be cheaper but in long run it will be as i also snapped the threaded bit of the cvj as well ive also lost a wheel nut , so i bought the Wheel Hexs £4.74 and am using 2 of them on the standard shafts at moment , but that total conversion is cool ohh by way i think its a savage or similar part as its an 8 mm nut that fits the thread , the 1/10 nuts dont fit
  16. i would vote for the mini as well they are amazing wee cars only downside is they are 1/12 scale but decently built and most of all its fun
  17. its a cvj on front of trophy 4.6 , im converting my 1 at moment , it does appear to fit but ideally it could use a longer pin to go through hex and shaft
  18. cheers mate also let us know how you get on with the upgraded shocks/springs etc
  19. yep thats what im going to do next time i pass a bike shop need to tremember stop and buy some dry lube lol
  20. i would still grease inside the diffs tho but for the rest the dry lube may be way to go
  21. what bits are you going to grease ? if its dog bones etc i got advised not to grease as it attracts dirt and grit and goes like a grinding paste , you could try the dry silicone lubricant for mountain bike chains and bearings tho ( it goes on in liquid form and dries out )
