Open Question to the mods that know will see this, is that the behaviour that you've issued a life ban for? Seriously now, I pay into the running fund so I would like to know. If you want to keep silent and keep your secret little rules and judgements to yourself its the last time I pay for gold.

Consultation works if you have leadership. What you describe is communism. We always run consultation at our place, we get a great response and better ideas.

I understand the forum has to be inclusive but that works both ways. We're not all ten yr olds new to the hobby and we don't need lecturing to by mods either. If they hadnt built up this bad feeling already, the Mike issue would be nothing. Mods need to ask themselves why hardly anyone trusts their judgement on this!

The thing is, forums arent about rules and mods, you can have all the rules you like but without members you have diddly squat. I'm not the first to say it. Mike is not the first to go due to oppressive moderation on here and we're losing more of the older more knowledgeable people because its getting more sterile by the day. I have no warnings against me but I'm still disliking the way some moderation is handled under the guise of keeping the forum great. Its not great if people hate it and go elsewhere. Lets see how long this forum consists of answers, sooner or later it will just be questions and chancers in the FS section.
