Just take it apart, take photos along the way so you know how it looked, write down how things go together if it helps.
Key bits are the drivetrain - motor and diffs, steering, and suspension. Google those bits with M-05 in the title and you'll get plenty of photos and probably threads about the bits.
The first car I bought, I didn't touch it, kept taking it back to the shop to sort it - bad move, learnt nothing. So I took it apart completely. I'd bought an old/defunct model so couldn't get bits for it. Still got some of the bits including the original shell. Then bought a new model, did some research and stripped it to the last screw. with the research and making a note of how things went together, I got it back in one piece in a better condition than I got it.
