  1. Yeah I did see it on e-bay, that's better as the combo it had fitted wasn't that good. What esc do you have? Do you want to get a motor from here in the Uk or don't mind ordering from overseas? Also what lipos do you have 2s Nanotech Hardcase? Thanks.
  2. Looks alright can't go wrong with a good old Hyper 7. Doesn't it come Rtr as it was in the advert? Thanks.
  3. Jforce. That does sound good and great service from Tower Hobbies. Any chance you could get some pictures up please? Glad to here you are enjoying it . Thanks.
  4. Looking good as always, how far to you plan on upgrading this so far it seems the sky's the limit . Thanks.
  5. After a bit more research I see that A Main Hobbies do a lot of parts and upgrades for them. Well the Nexx 10Sc and the Jammin SCRT 10 which are basically the same other than the Nexx has Pbs and a different colour chassis. I watched a few of Squirrelod's videos on YouTube about the Nexx 10sc and Jammin SCRT 10 which were quite interesting. Thanks.
  6. Thanks AJ great help. Yeah jumps and bashing defo find the weak spots that's why I'm not using this for that plus I have my other cars for that. Yeah I do remember your Scrt 10. I gave it a quick run the other night on a grass field and tbh I was impressed still got to get it how I want it and give it a good going over, a Sct that actually handles better than a Slash 4x4 in standard form (not hard). I've just been on Hong Nor's website and printed off both the parts list for the Scrt 10 and Nexx 10 then looking at what parts are the same and what are different but it looks like they only give you half the parts list as there's loads not on there. Where's the best place to source parts for these? Thanks.
  7. I knew you would be the man with some knowledge on these. Well I've ended up with one not a Sct I would be buy from choice that's why I haven't had one already but done someone a favour and for what it owes me I'm happy tbh. It's basically new with a few marks on the arms and a couple of little ones on the chassis. It's not going to be bashed really just an easy life on tracks, fields etc. Do you know the difference between the Scrt 10 and Nexx 10? So weak points are arms anything else? How strong is the drivetrain ie diffs, shafts etc? Thanks.
  8. Hi, As title can anyone share their experiences with them or their knowledge about them please? Thanks.
  9. Just picked up my first pair of Gens Ace lipos and they look great quality and the cells are perfectly balanced.

      Oh How Original

That's a good price, I've never actually had a bad Gens Ace or a bad Nano-Tech so I can't complain, if you can find some like new cheap, they're worth picking up.

Gens Ace are great, I run 2S sticks in my touring car, never a problem.

Gens Ace ftw, been using them for the last 3 years with zero issues :)

  10. I go by lipo ideally 100-120f lipo max 120-140f. Yours are fine. Thanks.
  11. They are quite different. What's your budget? What terrain will you be running it on? Thanks.
  12. Was the other day now but gave one of my older lipos a second chance. Was a 3s with a weak cell, bit of soldering later and it's now a 2s. I've run out of spare 2s balance plugs so I changed over a couple of cables on the 3s plug and cut it down into a 2s plug, work fine. Thanks.
  13. Yes it is: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/hobbywing-quicrun-wp8bl150-bl-esc/rc-car-products/382834 Thanks.
  14. Some SKF bearings from Saabmania2. They look great quality. Just fitted a pair in one of the brushless motors and its sounds so smooth again. Thanks.
  15. Hi, Im after some Tekno RC M6 Driveshaft & Hub Carrier Set for the rear of my Slash 4x4. If anyone has or knows of any give me a Pm please. Thanks.
  16. Very nice AJ top job as always, new shelf queen ? Thanks.
  17. The Flux Blur is a 120a esc. Go for a 150a esc as a replacement if your buying a new one. Drop the gearing. Decent connections no bullets taped together. Thanks.
  18. Looking good Noj, that St has defo seen some use. Thought this one was going to be the 4s basher with the combo out of my old St and this combo in my old St as the speed machine? Where did you source the combo and motor from if you dont mind me asking? Have you tried with the motor mount out of my old one as that does have a bit more adjustment I think, if not get modding this one . Thanks.
  19. Looks like its going to go well, crack on . Look forward to seeing it opened up. Thanks.

  21. Either: Hobbywing Xerun (Sensorless or sensored motors) Hobbywing Ezrun (Biggest in size out of the three, sensorless motors only) Hobbywing Quicrun (Waterproof, sensorless motors only) Thanks.
  22. I would go for a motor of around 2200kv upto 2650kv for 4s in a buggy. I wouldnt bother buying a sensored motor even though you can use it sensorless. I would just buy a sensorless motor as you cant use a sensored motor to its full potential with the Wp Sc8 esc. Thanks.
