  1. Before I get these new, does anyone have a good condition set of metric eds hex drivers available, only really need the 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 & I`d take a 4.0. Also interested in a case for them. Only interested in eds, as I` sad and want them to match my imperial eds ones. Cheers
  2. Yeah, it seems especially the older or lower spec ones, people seem to think they`re worth mint xxl money.
  3. The silver one is too long and the black one is too short????
  4. I`m playing around with a little project and I need a cvd of 125mm long from the centre of the pin in the drive cup, to the centre of the pins on the dogbone end. So far I`ve tried: Lst xxl center shafts, too short by apx 10mm Lst axle shafts, too long by 10mm Looked at some of my buggies and truggies, but couldn`t find anything, so if anyone can help me find a shaft to suit, I`d really appreciate it. Cheers
  5. Nice buy!! I I'd have snapped them up too, if I'd seen them...
  6. rx box complete So now batt tray, first job to space up the base They'll be mounted like this.. Need something flat to make a base for the tray, then once the tray is mounted it'll end up like this
  7. Still can`t pm as your inbox is full mate. Very interested in the combo. Cheers
  8. Did a bit more work on the bl lst2, ordered the vorza rx box, just ha to mount it. Thought about a plate, offered it up a few different ways and ended up doing this.... Moved to the side a bit, to show what I'm planning Dremel time Drilled to 2.5mm and tapped to 3mm The drill wandered on both front holes, I hadny punched the centre very well.... And fitted, happy with it, theses ones are a bit rough, so I may do them again and get all four holes drilled tidy. I put the gear cover back on too, which has left me with less space than I'd hoped to mount the batt tray. It now needs spacing up apx 10mm so it can move forward enough.
  9. That's interesting, as it was new from Ms in October and has the thick rear cvds, along with the cougar 3 without the lcd! I'll throw up a pic of the box/part no in a sec
  10. Seems I spoke too soon, at the very end of the last run it fried its steering servo, 3 4s pack and its knackered, doesn`t smell burnt, its just ****ed. Nice one thunder tiger, cheers!!! So I dropped in a savox I had sat about, turned out it had a damaged gear, hopefully a solution to this should be with me shortly, so ended up with an oldschool hitec hs5945 in there, plus a new Orx so its now bound to my dx3s and ready for action again. This was interesting too Yep that pin should still be in the rx, seller says it's not the only one, so watch out if you've recently got any Orx gr300's. Sucks but back it's got to go.... Not sure if I`ll get a chance before, but next weekend we`re off mtb`ing and there is a great spot there, if its quiet when we`re done I`ll crack out the mt4 on the table tops
  11. Not the female deans, or the orx gr300`s I was expecting......
  12. Best I can do is 57t +/- 1or2 teeth made my eyes go funny!! It's the one on the right, below the spline for the servo horn, you can see the two damaged teeth in the pic. Cheers
  13. Do old pc`s and laptops have anything useful for rc purposes, like the power supply etc?

Make an RC pc. Would be entertaining to see a pc case barreling along!

Ha ha, should have thought of the wireless brushless pc!! might be able to ram a bl lst2 up in there, Tc, already sorted for a fish tank, while I do like the rc rr/dyno idea I just want them gone, but if there is anything to be salvaged as an rc hack.....I`m crap at just throwing things away...

  14. Ok, tooth count should do it anyway, let me know. Cheers
  15. Hi Mate, That sounds great, the full gear sets are listed different for the 1256, but the gear I need may be the same, if I put a vernier on the 1258 and count the teeth, would you be happy to check the 1256? Cheers
  16. As above guys, I have an sc1258tg that I got ages ago with some stuff, went to use it and found it has stripped 2 teeth on the big cog underneath the spline. If anyone has a broken servo they`d like a few
  17. They can be a little fiddly, there should be a round platic yoke type part that the driveshaft goes through, this has a groove in that locates onto the chassis, if this isn`t seated right, it won`t go together right. Edit, did you open up the plastic diff cases? if the diff pins go into metal plates that slide into slots in the side of the diff case, then you do indeed have a hd diff case.
  18. Its likely to have just seeped out of the diff case over time... Edit, we must have been replying at the same time J, plus the hd diff cases are highly recommended for brushless and would replace those, unless your lucky and someone already fitted some for you....
  19. I was going to ask if anyone else was having trouble with them, when I posted them they were fine, but yesterday I couldn't get on losi forum.net at all. Big shame if it's all gone.
  20. Sounds mental, I do fancy trying 5s though. I shouldn`t have said anything about the servo, truck went a little funny at the end of the last, just thought it was the pack, popped a new pack in I`d just put deans on and the steering isn`t working right, plugged in another servo and it works, but not perfect, so maybe servo and rx, time to get a spekky or orx in it and see what I`ve got in the way of a backup servo to keep me going, was hoping the ace rc one would see a few runs and survive for one of the buggies.....Does anyone know what brands take the same servo horn as ace rc servo`s? Hyper st bl and hyper buggy bl you say some people have good taste !!
  21. That's a great spec, have spotted the irc stuff, its lush isn`t it!! Servo is on my to do list....Whats the jump from 4s to 5s like on these?
  22. Liking it a lot so far. Seen a few posts that show you beat on yours pretty good, so hoping mine can take a beating!! Landed front right and bent the hinge pin brace, and bent both front hinge pins, they`d already been upgraded too. Found lst2 ones seemed a good fit and doubled up the front brace, holding up ok at mo. Went with 50k-300k-30k, seems pretty good. Yeah concrete does not forgive, but its hard to resist despite the damage!!! Just asked about 23mm as I`ve got a few sets already I could use... Not selling the shell sorry.
