  1. dNaNo is the wave of the future! 1/43rd scale, indoor, high speed, relatively economical.... i've got a few myself

    2.4ghz

definitely not... futaba 2.4ghz will not work for any other brand's 2.4ghz stuff. totally proprietory.
  3. no one has mentioned Vimeo? i used them before moving to YouTube but only cuz they're site gets a lot less traffic
  4. co-signed... this is what i do. if you don't have a dremel, use a file or just chip the slot into the screw
  5. so i've decided to venture into a new section of my hobby since no one has really touched it yet. i've already completed my first work but i think i can do much better... i think this will be something that takes time, patience and skill that i believe is within my range of talent. here's a sample of the first joint.... what do ya think? 1/43 scale, really tiny, limited decals to use at the time but i've got my hands on some new joints so the next one should be sweet.... btw, i call this one "Two Face"
  6. a guy from Belgium came thru with his dNaNo Mazda 787b and a KO Propo Esprit III Universe (sticks) so that might be a good transmitter for ya i used sticks when i was a kid but graduated to the wheel after i'd took a long break off from the hobby
  7. thanks for all the help guys... i think we're going to start with the Micro-T. i'm contacting a rubber company for obstacles to place on the circuit to give it an off-road feel without causing any damage. should be pretty cool... i'm not into it really but i just might change my mind once we come up with something unique to play on

    xmods

there are multiple xmod/mini-z comparison vids on youtube... mini-z beats x-mods hands down in most. i'm partial to kyosho so... i'd say go mini-z if you're looking into that scale only
  9. LOL ... thanks for the compliment ... yeah, dNaNo and Mini-Z are really cool but kids can't appreciate the detail and the price range isn't attractive to parents. i'm going for good quality but durable at "more for kids" pricing. i get a lot of them coming in and many are disappointed cuz kyosho products just aren't in the expendable price range especially considering economic conditions
  10. i'm thinking of changing the 2nd floor lounge track into an indoor off-road track for kids but i'll need an r/c model that's around 1/28-1/36th available for them to run with. something not too expensive, RTR, but decent quality. any recommendations?
  11. i kinda wanna get one of these and see how they run but... i might be better off sticking with the brand we already carry.
  12. nanotrax is all indoor baby... but its tropical weather year 'round in thailand anyhow (sorry, had to rub that in a bit )
  13. hey guys... thanks for the quick and positive response! i've put a lot of time and effort into the site and do a lot of marketing to get people interested in this relatively new racing scale. i hope i can contribute to your forum in a positive way. thanks for having me
