For all those members busy posting OFF TOPIC posts in a certain for sales thread...and I do have a list of who you were... I suggest you re-read the rules. Whilst busily trashing a new members advert for breaking the rules...you were breaking the rules too. I have had to waste the last half hour of my life tidying up the mess you left. Thanks a lot.....

Poxy bike insurance will be

Just a reminder to members ...Status is NOT for selling....and it's not for 'wanted' ads....as these come under the same rules as 'For Sale'. Everything has a place...and out of place stuff gets deleted.

Anyone got some good ship plans I can scale up to 1:1....while I go collect 2 of every kind of animal I can find?
-
Finally got around to fitting the IRC rear plate on the Baja. Good job I did...when I stripped down the driveline I found the outer bearing on the pinion was on the verge of collapse. Outer shield was detached, and the pinion was very floppy. Changed out both bearings and shimmed up some slack while I was at it. Would have been messy if that had let go.....

Do i sell my brushless NQD jetboat to fund a new project....I haven't even got the thing wet all summer. I blame the council for not looking after the local pond.
-
Yay...youngest son just recorded his first proper RC breakage. Cartwheeled his brushless Stampede and bust a rear suspension arm. Can't decide whether it'll get replaced with stock or RPM.

For all those 1/5 owners who don;t think they need a remote killswitch..... had my throttle servo die on todays bash on it's first run just as I buried the throttle. Car stays flat out. Click. Stop. No drama. Can happen anytime, and if you don;t have one...your expensive 5th scale only stoips when it runs out of fuel or hits something solid. And it takes a long time to run out of fuel.....

finally got around to putting up the feedback from all the stuff I have bought over the last couple of weeks. Didn't realise the list had got so long
Must stop spending....but I own a Baja, so that ain't gonna happen!

Baja ate it's clutch spring last bash, but a new one is already fitted and se will be back in action in a day or so after I finish cleaning the muck off! Boy...was she filthy. Now just fighting hte stupidly cold temperatures to do the other jobs I need to do. It's damn cold and isn;t even forecast to snow. Thats just not sporting

Another bash due sunday
Damage to the Baja from the last NLB is all fixed. New front suspension arm, new front shock tower and GH alloy shock supports. Also fitted Vertigo brake setup, so it ought to stop a bit better now! Might even test drive the project Hyper if the servo arrives in time.

Hooray! New gearbox for Truckzilla is here. This ought to be a bit more robust. Savage Flux gearbox with heavy duty gears, Alza racing slipper locker and all put together with new bearings. Topped off with a 44T spur gear, which will help to raise the gearing a touch too. HD drive cups too. Sadly one of those will have to come off to make way for the brake hex though. While I am doing this I am also fitting a twin disc setup. Should have done that right from the off really. It didn't...

Truckzilla was given a good thrashing today...and broke. Slipper couldn't take the strain and unwound itself and exploded. Spring and nut missing in action. Slipper plate shed it's pins. Have decided to go for a Flux single speed box and lock the slipper. Was changing into second so fast you could barely notice! And I have barely begun tuning it........I think I have created a monster

Woohoo...my Silverback Mercenary front wheels have arrived. Ordered at the weekend..despatched Monday...delivered Tuesday! Can't argue with that. All I need now is a set of Hostile MX fronts and I will be all set for winter
-
Going to try some Silverback wheels..Rears ordered...saving for fronts!
-
Yeeha...Revo exhaust is here, and now I just need the gasket ( on it's way) and I can take her for a bash at the weekend. If the nylon rod turns up ( probably won;t) then it might even have it's rollcage built by then.

Is it a bad thing when you can't fit all your cars into the 'cars' field on your forum profile.....

Thunder Tiger are so considerate! They must have known I would want to use silicon diff oils in the ST-1 so they didn't bother putting any grease in to save me cleaning. What little darlings they are
-
Finally happy with the tune on the Thunder Tiger ST-1...25% Byrons and a few vents in the shell. Had the power but she was a tad warm. Now she has unglued both front tyres
I am liking this Rb .28ST motor...it's a perfect match for the ST-1!

Life is cruel! I have enough cash to almost do the projects I want, but not enough to finish the ones I have already started too! I could do my Kyosho plans...and brushless the Savage...but not buy batteries to run it...I could almost do most of the things I want...but how to decide! It's worse than having no money at all! At least that's easy to decide.
-
I am not selling a Savage...and if I was, I wouldn't be daft enough to post it in status where it says don;t...because then I would be wondering why my status updates kept vanishing .....
-
I have been corrupted and turned to the Dark Side.....yes....I am buyin a Baja

Thought I had velntines sorted. all dressed up, table booked .....................................................forgot to check if the wife played snooker
