What did you do to it to warrant £625 outlay? I own a Losi 8ight 1.0 and the only thing I have had to replace are the tyres and the Spoiler after landing full on the back end. These are really tough buggies that take a lot of abuse. Sorry to say it but a Hyper is not gonna cut it with the Losi's and Xrays that run at most clubs. Although the Hyper's are pretty bulletproof, they are too heavy compared to the Proper RACERS out there.

Hi all, After some advice. I have been offered a Losi 8ight 2.0 for a good price as a Race Roller. If I decide to go for it, I would intend on joining Frankley Race Club and start racing this or at least participating should I say. I think the benefits of this would be to learn the hobby much faster and if things break, help readily available on hand. So based on this, what Servo's would you add to it? I dont want to scrimp budget wise but lets not go silly. I intend to run my Spektrum DX3S radio gear in it also.

My Father's experience of BT is very poor. Performing speed checks show massive fluctuations during the day and distance from the Main Board can cause issues and signal loss as well. He was getting a Maximum of 9 mb on a 20mb line with as little as 1mb at times. He is not a heavy user of the Internet and certainly doesnt download music, movies etc. He is coming up to his 60's still at work during the day so shouldnt be capped on download limits. Steer clear is my recommendation. I am with VirginMedia Cable and I cannot remember the last time I had any issues or slowness on the system. I have the 50mb Package with them with discount due to being a loyal Customer (First company I have seen offer a discount for being loyal) and cannot fault personally. Thats my opinions and I am sure others will give theirs in time which I am sure will differ.

Just a note on this as I am doing mine tonight, How do you dispose of the old oils? By this I mean do you place in tubs and dispose in the bin, down the sink, dump outside. The same goes for the oils in the shocks. This will be my first time of removing the oils and refilling rather than just cleaning and then regreasing.

Put screws into different labelled envelopes and mark the quantity. Seal the envelope until needed once more then you know what its for and how many you should have when rebuilding. Thats the best way I have found doing it.
