Thanks mate.I intend to use this for a bit of car park fun but not crazy speeds and also fit some 1/8th buggy wheels and tyres for a bit of off road fun.phat bodies have a nice fiesta rally shell that should fit so I will probably buy one of them.

Thanks for the replies guys.I have gone with a hyper gt roller as it seems good value for £239 from modelsport.I am not to keen on the body shape but the fiesta st and the hyper have the same wheelbase so I reckon the traxxas body should fit.

Yes the rear plastic hexes are to wide so you can't do the wheels up tight without binding.The metal hexes sort that but I still run the plastic ones on the front as the metal ones arnt deep enough so there's way to much play. -

If its the brushless one then esc is already set for lipo.I searched for ages about how to change it as it comes with a nimh but it's already set up👍 -

It's probably the nimh battery causing it. -
Added a heatsink and got the alloy steering parts from tuneithoonit.I haven't taken the steering apart yet and wander if it has bushes that I can replace with bearings?With the stock set up it has a horrible amount of play.

These wheels and tyres for the strada.

Found this last set on ebay.The tyres are the same as the fastrax arrows but the wheels are the same offset as stock so they fit perfectly.Not really my preferred choice of colour but not to bad.

Thanks mate.I have already bought front and rear chassis brace,front and rear alloy hubs and the alloy disc hexes came yesterday.I will be after more parts from you soon👍

I might in the future and also the fronts hit the body when turning so the shell will need trimming.Its a shame as the look good and feel really grippy but the have to much offset.I need to find some like these but with 0 offset.I got the alloy hexes so at least I can do the rear wheels up properly now with no binding.
