  2. time to never use MS shop any more as they have gone overboard the shipping prices even tho it costs the same to post UK wide with royalmail

their shipping times, postage and stock levels recently have become abit stupid, i like ordering from ms as their customer service tends to be good, but there comes a point when the other parts of the store become to much fo CS to out weigh

get a balance lead extender, and put 4mm plugs on each wire, and charge each cell as a 1s.

Good boiling needed. In oil, naturally. Solution to every problem, honest!

  6. when i first converted my ER-1 to electric i used a 540 motor with 3S and it fairly shifted, only problem i found with it was that i couldn't 4 wheel drift on tarmac very well unless it was damp or dusty
  7. I love how when down south gets a little bit of wind the news goes mental but every year NW Scotland gets 80 to 120 mph winds many times a year, and not a thing said about it FYI that is wind speed not gusts, gusts max I have seen is 158
  8. I will be and won't be going flatout as I always seem to break something or just find somewhere that I can do more jumps and less powersliding round a flat course
  9. thats the first thing i checked with the last clutch bell i fitted and everything seemed to be running free. looking into getting a slipper for it some time soon if it doesnt sell. think i am snaping them due to how and where i run it, wheels like to spin up and then suddenly decide to grip
  10. i havnt had my baja out in a while and took it out over the weekend and snaped the clutchbell after 20min now this is the third clutch bell i have wrecked it. Is there upgradable clutch bell without having to buy the TR set ?, as thinking of sell soon and dont want to splash out on a
  11. first three things i broke 1: clutch bell carrier 2: Dogbones 3: Shock shafts bent but it was a V1

3 days and counting here and looks like another 3+ to go just have to run the baja and marder a lot more rich than i like to =(

  13. Going to try my drifter out again now its cooking outside and dry . I know its best to have more weight forward but what is the best way to weigh it, purring digital scales under each wheel or just one set at the front and one set on the rear??
  14. I have been using the hobbyking 600W power supply for the last year and its been great but I have modded it to have a volt meter and variable resistor so I can adjust the voltage no idea what that does to the watt out out don't want to think about it as its work fine so far, next thing to do is add some quieter fans and it will be perfect
  15. will be about one month until i can use my RC again as away for work tomorrow so just packed everything away just now will get things tested asap also have a 16,15,13 pinions just didnt take them out with me
  16. =( guess will have to buy a smaller spur now and then a bunch more pinions, but what i find weird is that it ran fine with 4S just wasnt enough speed but that might be because was running it most the time in the winter
  17. dude thats some amount of bad luck then
  18. but if you use the same RX that was in a nitro and had set the failsafe then forgot to reset it back to neutral you will get a run away
  19. same as the pipe i have atm on my marder gives a great boost high up the rev range as you dont really need much if any extra lowend grunt on a marder unless you want to pull wheelies all day long
  20. are you sure the failsafe was set to neutral should never set a fail safe on 2.4ghz radio or if you do set it to neutral then you should never get a run away
  21. The 1520 only came with one kv 1600
  22. Tekin RX8 cc 1520 motor geared 20/48 Also its a RC8Te
  23. I am right in thinking that when you up the voltage you are ment to gear lower ? Because I have just had my first proper bash with 6s on same gearing as I used with 4s and the motor is real hot with coolish ESC and fairly hot batteries, so I am lost as I thought **** ESC hot motor was under geared
  24. lost my job few days ago and get a phone call today asking me to start somewhere else next week
