  8. If you are talking about watching on Ebay, it wasn't this one, got it off a mate.
  9. It's a parma, lexan shell. Painted with emulsion. The shell is in good condition, but bend, or flex it, and the paint chips off. Will be interesting trying to sort it.

  13. Very helpful, thanks, I was lead to believe they were the same between the Apache, and Vorza. So the guys running 6s, on stock electrics, are pushing the limits, and the magic smoke may escape. I assume the specific circumstances you talk about would be, light car, smooth drivetrain, perfect gearing, and low ambient temperature?
  14. I have an HPI Apache, the manual suggests 4s running only. But the same ESC, and motor, in the Vorza, and a few other cars, is rated for 6s. Is there any reason for this? Anyone tried the Apache on 5, or 6s?
  15. Well it looks like I'm joining the ranks of Firestorm ownership. I am buying a rolling chassis. My only problem now is, the only spare electrics I have is a 10 turn brushless combo, and I fear the 380 sized rotor may struggle, so may have to save for a new combo.
