I've been losing interest in his channel for a while, it seemed like he was running out of content. He moved onto the odd boat, helicopter, then a lot of nitro models, none of which interest me. I've subscribed to his other channel now, hopefully it'll feature more of what I want to see. Actually, I've started watching Tomley a lot more than Talbot now.

Someone I know is selling a brand new in box Wild Dagger. As far as I know they haven't been reissued, which would make this around 20 years old. What are your thoughts? Is it something that's worth buying? 🤔

I picked up this second hand 2WD Stampede a couple of days ago. The transmitter was broken, so I replaced the ESC and receiver in order to use my RC4GS. I've always wanted a Traxxas, but I find the normal Stampede to be quite goofy looking. This one came up on Facebook marketplace, it has some RPM parts and TRX alu parts fitted, and I like how the body looks 😊

I've been away from the hobby for a long time, but have picked it up again during lockdown. Last time around the Losi micro models were popular - I had the SCT. Now I can't seem to find anything similar. I've seen the Team Associated 1/28 models, but compared to the old Losi ones they aren't that well engineered. I'm just looking for something tiny that I can jump and bash around the house. Maybe Banggood have something that fits the bill?

Just thought I'd update this thread as I got the look I was after: Stock tyres are the same diameter: I got the tyres on eBay from China, and I can't fault them. The wheels are 2.2 Proline Desperados.

Sorry, I've just edited my post with measurements. I think they use a stock photo for the Badlands, in reality the sidewall height is only 5mm different.

I have a Maverick Strada MT, which comes with wheels like this: But I'd like to fit Proline Badlands and have high sidewalls, like this: The stock wheels are 2.8 with 12mm hex, and the stock tyres are 115mm diameter with a 22mm sidewall. 2.8 Badlands have a sidewall height of 27mm, so I'd either need smaller rims or bigger tyres. What are my options for achieving this look? Thanks.

Hopefully. They said to return just the battery and charger, but it's an all-in-one ESC/ receiver/ battery, so I'll have to send the whole car back in a big box ?

I recently bought an FTX Ibex crawler from Modelsport. I hadn't even used it, and when I tried to charge the battery the charger said the battery was fully charged. It must be quite a common problem because there's a video of it, and quite a few comments saying the same thing: I contacted MS and apparently I'm paying for the return postage. That's a bit crap, eh?

Kevin's videos recently got me back into RC ☺️
